  1. I tried to down load a mod and received a message that I had failed to request file info from Nexus and that the Host, which assume is Nexus, requires authentication. I've never ran into that message before. What is this and how do I authenticate? Disregard: I stumbled into the solution, disconnect then reconnect MO2 from Nexus.
  2. I got the hang of it. That is going to work good. Thanks for you're post.
  3. Hi my friend. There are a lot of good player homes and I have several. I also have a lot of followers. I have the three Hearthfire homes and 16 beds that can't be used for anything. They are just sitting there taking up space and none of my followers will use them. So yes, I'm just talking about the Hearthfire homes. I can understand why my followers wouldn't use the children's beds but I don't understand why they won't use the big double bed. Very few players would move their family into a home with only two children's beds, so this is a common problem for most players. I think that my proposed mod would be picked up by a lot of people. I haven't upgraded my game to the new Anniversary Edition and I probably never will. To me that's just asking for a lot of problems that I don't need. But you know Bethesda as well as I do. They rarely fix what needs to be fixed unless they can make a substantial profit off of it. I see this Anniversary Edition as nothing more that a subtle way to try and regain control of a property that they have completely lost control of. So I seriously doubt that Bethesda has changed anything with the Hearthfire homes.
  4. For the three Hearthfire homes, if you select the "Bedroom" option for the west side of the homes you get two children's beds and a large double bed which are rarely ever used. None of those beds can be used by followers. I'd like a mod that makes those beds usable for followers. Remove the desk and chair so that the children's beds can be changed to the larger follower beds.
  5. It was hidden by the mod author. If they want to hid their own mod, I guess that's OK.
  6. I tried to access one of my followers to see who she is, I don't remember her. It tells me the mod has been hidden, which seems kind of dumb. How do I view a hidden mod?
  7. That often happens, but not with all mods. You probably have a better way of fixing the tits than I do. If I really like a follower for other reasons, pretty and with good skills, I try to fix their proportions. I've been successful copying the body meshes over from other followers. If that doesn't work I hide them in a nice outfit from Divine Elegance and then never have sex with them.
  8. Just a comment: I've seen more than my share of grossly oversized and unnatural tits on female followers. I don't know who would find them attractive. To me they're damned ugly. That's the first thing I check when I load a new follower and I've rejected several mods because of that.
  9. I'm really tired of hunting through tall grass for dead bodies. I'd like a mod that makes it easier to find loot, similar to the Loot Detector mod for Fallout 4. I'm not looking for something as extensive and powerful as the Loot Detector though. While it is easily one of the 10 best mods of all games that would take a modding superstar to make it.
  10. No problem. We've beat this subject near to death. This has been well worth the effort. I added a lot of good stuff. Thanks for all of your help and insight my friend. Of course at this point it is obvious that I'll never know the answer to my basic question, why I could once grow garlic at Heljarchen farm and Valkyrja Manor and now no longer can. Something changed the basic game.
  11. I started a new test play through with every mod disabled except Peregrine Highwatch. I still can't plant garlic there. So I know that my problem is not being caused by another mod or USSEP. You mentioned a plant list. There wasn't a plant list in the Peregrine Highwatch folder. Is there a generic plant list I can check to see what is in it, and if so where would it be? You gave me the motivation to finally load the Bruma mod and I checked out the Waterview home there. Bruma looks like it's going to be an interesting place. I owe you for that.
  12. well, I hain't a clue why that would be the case. Garlic is ubiquitous As I noted Waterview allows copious growling space and both homes offer the ability to grow garlic on nearly every plot space. And there are dozens of other player homes that allow it. And of course, there's that "garden anywhere" mod which allows it. dunno what happened to whichever spots you can't grow garlic on, maybe an overwritten mesh/et from some other mod you installed, idk. I didn't know that I can grow garlic at the Waterview properties. Since they are the only places where I can grow WV plants, that is the only things I've ever grown there. I have one other property that still accepts garlic, at Seapoint Settlement on the far West side of the map. Those are some good options that you brought up. So you're not seeing this same problem. I guess it could be something I've done. I'll play with my load order and see if I can figure out what is doing it. Thanks for your response my friend.
  13. That isn't it. I have a few old play throughs where I still have garlic growing where I can no longer plant garlic now. Something has changed the game. Example, Heljarchen Farm a Bethesda mod where I've always planted a row of seven garlic plants. Now those same plots won't accept garlic seed. The only thing I can think of that would do that is the USSEP, but I'm not going to accuse them of that because they are supposed to be fixing bugs, not creating them.
  14. I know she is a vampire, but she is so darned ugly. Could somebody give her a new face?
  15. Everything I've found on the web concerning Vendor Restock says it occurs at midnight on Sunday and Wednesday. But the only thing the game gives you is a date. How can I find out from date what day of the week it is? Disregard: I found a conversion web page.
  16. While I am playing SkyrimSE, this is a Nexis problem. When making a post the Insert Image button won't accept a valid image URL for me. I can pull up the image in Firefox but when posting, the Insert Image button tells me that the same URL is invalid. The only thing I can think of is that there must be an enable button somewhere that I need to check. Disregard: I found the problem
  17. How do I add an image to my account? Disregard, I found it.
  18. I've been having trouble inserting Screenshots into a comment, probably because the screenshot is to large. What are the size limitations for screenshots? Is there a limitation for each screenshot or just a total size limitation if there are more than one screenshot. And does the size limitation include screenshot plus text? Does it help if I inset a screenshot as a spoiler? How do I insert screenshot as a spoiler? I see down below the 250kb limitation for attached files. That message isn't there when posting a comment. I know I've successfully inserted screenshots larger than that. Does that only apply to attached files?
  19. I used to be able to grow Garlic. For some reason you can no longer plant garlic in Skyrim. Does anybody know why? I've verified that it is not being caused by a mod.
  20. I never use Flares or Artillery Smoke Grenades. I wish the game would stop giving them to me. They're a nuance. I would think that turning off the unending supply at Sanctuary Hills would be a simple mod to make.
  21. Then where do the Meshes and textures added my mods come from? They come from many different sources. But definitely not from the Creation Kit. If they come from a lot of places that increases the likelihood that there is a lot of nonstandard stuff that could be causing the game problems.
  22. I've never used the Creation kit, but then where do the meshes and textures added my mods come from?
  23. Thanks for confirming that I was right. The Mod Author for the MCM said there is a problem with the meshes and textures for Fallout 4 that are produced by the Creation Kit. He recommends that you run Elric, a Bethesda tool, that is supposed to optimize the meshes and textures for Fallout 4. I did that quite a while ago and it seemed to make a difference. However I've added many new mods since then. Do you know of any problem with the meshes and textures in F4 that are produced by the Creation Kit?
  24. I think I understand. That reference ID is used all over the map. Say I scrap a common lamp post and that reference ID is marked as deleted. The game tracks that I scrapped a lamp post. But it has to also track which lamp post, the specific one, it's location, or all of the lamp posts all over the map would be gone. If it is tracking a specific lamp post, it shouldn't be getting confused when it loads other lamp posts. I'm beginning to suspect that I have it all wrong. That all scrapping everywhere puts a bigger and bigger load burden on the PC to load any location, and the PC is set to CTD if it takes too long to load a location so that it doesn't get stuck in a loop. If that's the case it would explain a lot of what I'm seeing. It would explain why I can do all of these same things on an Xbox without it crashing, because the Xbox doesn't care how long it takes to load. And why one of the most powerful PCs on the market today CTDs when fast traveling to Sanctuary when there are only 35 settlers there.
