  1. My problem is simple but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to solve it. I've had several problems with AFT over the past few months, the one before this one being random invincible bandits. Since I had installed the Steam Workshop version of the mod in a fit of madness/idiocy, I decided that it must be due to the pure shittiness of installing mods through Steam Workshop for anything other than Left 4 Dead 2 causing all my issues. Given that once I had removed the mod, everything worked smoothly (Or as smoothly as Skyrim ever goes when running around 100 mods) This seems to have indeed been the problem. However, I have of late found I can literally not live without AFT. As in literally, I can't live without it, it is so friggin useful. So, I decided I'd come to the nexus and download it properly. Thus chapter 100984098459 of my saga of issues with mods and Skyrim began. Usually I do pretty well solving things like this on my own, and if it were any other mod, I'd probably just say "f*#@ it" and be done with it, but as I mentioned, I really like AFT. So I thought I'd come to the Nexus and kindly request assistance. TL;DR: Steam Workshop version of AFT f*#@ed my Skyrim with a barbed dildo so I got rid of it, got Nexus version and now s#*!'s f*#@ed up. Again.
  2. Not supposed to bump threads, hun. Just be patient. if the idea is good, modders will come. If no one responds for a week, consider re-posting the thread with a clearer title and more extensive tags.
  3. The formatting Oh god the formatting My eyes They're burning Ahem. Seems like a cool idea, I'll be watching with interest.
  4. Well, you'd obviously need to add in the option to execute him (The companion) on sight. I mean, to some Couriers, he'll be just another raider. The entire questline you've presented is far too linear. You need to give the player some choices in the questline, other than that one at the end.
  5. Hell, a companion that has Metro armor as his default equip.... With a russian accent. Yespls do want
  6. It's not a bad idea. I mean, sometimes you have that character that you want to be evil, but the Legion are dickwads and hahahahaha s#*! she's a chick. All joking aside, having the Raiders as another faction you could side with would be cool. Make Raider armor faction armor, just like Legion armor or NCR armor. It could be a major overhaul mod, even add in some extra NPC's to take quests from. I don't have the know-how to pull this off, but I'll be watching with interest.
  7. I'm pretty new when it comes to working with the GECK, so I dunno. I'd rather leave something like this to the more experienced folk, I'd just muck it up. Perhaps have an equipable item to start it off whenever, too, and make it broken only by tapping a key, so you can take screenshots.
  8. So I had a thought while I was on a mission that required me to wait in a location for an NPC to appear. What if, rather than having the camera start spinning around after an allotted length of time, your courier started sandboxing about the area? You know, leaning on walls, checking their pip-boy, pacing about. And like when your camera spins, moving your mouse or tapping any key stops it. Really would be more of a novelty feature than anything, if it could even be implemented. Would anyone be interested in giving this a shot?
  9. Oh, yes, that does sound fun. I've never had that happen, actually. Mebbe I just have good luck with my choice of sarsparilla bottles? (And a lot more time on my hands than in healthy?
  10. If all else is lost and you have a lot of time on your hands, you CAN actually just set up a bunch of empty bottles and shoot at them. They actually will get knocked down. At least in my game. To be utterly honest I've completely forgotten what's vanilla and what's modded by this point....
  11. So, I'm fairly certain this is likely something extremely stupid and simple, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out. When I'm running around naked, everything is fine and dandy. Nothing wrong. The problem is that I don't often run around naked. Whenever I equip any piece of armor, clothing, anything that shows fingers or hands, said fingers or hands turn purple, which as I've learned from my digging about in search of a solution, indicates that the required textures are missing. This is in no way a major glitch or game-breaking, but my god is it annoying. I'm fairly certain it's an error with how I installed the mod, or lacking hand meshes for clothing. I installed Robert's manually, due to NMM not cooperating with me on that particular file. A picture of the glitch in action http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/330/3/0/2014_11_26_00002_by_demonbane775-d87qqxd.jpg And as I noted, when males are naked, it goes away. (Don't worry, censored.) http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/330/3/d/2014_11_26_00003_by_demonbane775-d87qqxm.jpg Thanks you to all who can offer help.
  12. One of the things a lot of people seem unhappy about with Dead Money is the inability to return to Sierra Madre. You can do so through use of the console, of course- as seen here- But what I'd really love to see is a mod that allows you to go back to the Sierra Madre without the console, and reunite with your compainions from Dead Money after their endings, depending upon what you chose for each of them. For example, continue the pseudo-romance you can start with Christine as a Chertz de la Femme or Lady Killer and help her patrol the Sierra Madre, see the united being Dog/God became, perhaps even run into Dean Domino out in the wastelands. Of course, if you killed them, it's not a thing you can do. Would this even be possible? Would someone be willing to attempt something this complex? EDIT- After some digging, I found this mod- http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40567/? However, it seems it has been abandoned since early 2011. It does seem the author at the time was trying to do something rather close to what I'm requesting now.
  13. The reason NVSE is required is because it extends the limits of the vanilla scripting in New Vegas. Yeah, you can make mods without it in the equation, but anything more complicated than a retexture or a reskin is next to impossible.
