  1. In response to post #29870615. #29914715, #30241680 are all replies on the same post. @Ozone - You don't seem to understand the process of what goes on when you are designing something with a group. It doesn't matter if you or anyone else has a specific design in mind. There will be a few who will like parts of it and there will be those who don't like parts of it. You will need to work around that and also take on board their ideas. If people entered into this focus group thinking that their idea is going to be the one that will rule them - that's not what working in a group means. When it comes down to it, the designs need to match what the client (Nexus) is looking for, a site design for a modding community. And it's up to those who manage Nexus to decide which one they like out of the designs.
  2. I'm not sure really, but from what I do remember, there is something similar with storage. Someone may have made a patch or something for it that allows it
  3. If you mean porting someones models that they made themselves and made it into a mod it is allowed to be ported because it's their model but you cannot port a model from the game to another game without express permission from the creator, which in this case is Bethesda, and they don't allow it. It doesn't matter if someone used that model for a mod. They are not allowed to make it into a mod in the next game by porting it over. They'll have to make the model from scratch so it looks close to it if they want to make a mod of it for the next game.
  4. It is likely that it's possible but it's not allowed.
  5. SilverPeak Lodge, has loads of storage, weapon racks, plaques, mannequins, all crafting stations, and loads of room for followers. 30 or so beds if I remember correctly for them. You can bring your family too with six kids. It's pretty massive. It hasn't moved off my load order since I found it.
  6. No one is treating anyone like "second class citizens". People can donate to modders on the Nexus if they so choose. It's not like the option isn't there.
  7. Probably the most effective method is testing how far you can go. What mods you can and cannot use on a disposable save rather than one you intend on keeping. Depends on the size of the texture packs and your PC.
  8. As Boombro stated, when you duplicate a cell, press f2 and rename it because it will save you this hassle. I am working on an enormous player home myself and the state it was in before was terrible. Others liked it but I didn't. I had spent A LOT of time on it but when it came down to it: it was a mess and it needed to be remade. So I deleted the cell and started again. It's a pain but sometimes it's necessary. What I do recommend is make smaller player homes before tackling this again. Get used to making them. That way, things will be a bit more easier for you. Edit: Do what TheFirstEnD said and that should set you on the path again.
  9. It's inevitable that a project of this scale would cause a massive perfomance hit
  10. You say to "just leave it alone" yet you go to the trouble of hiding behind another account because you couldn't address this on your real account. Maybe you should follow your own words and "just leave it alone". But you had to add fuel to the fire by posting this on a throwaway account. If you're going to get involved in any discussion and want someone to take you seriously: Don't hide behind another identity. But I suppose you laced your post with contempt towards a moderator and it could be damaging to your "long-standing member" reputation, so, you settled on making a throwaway account to take the fall, and it's like what Oubliette said: I really don't care if you have been here longer than LadyMilla. She's a moderator. You are just a member. Your registration date means nothing in comparison to the title of moderator. There are lots of people who have been here just as long as you but they most likely earned their respect. They didn't just expect it from people because of their registration date. If you expect that you need to realize your registration date is the not the be-all-end-all. It's just a date. Get over it. You treat others with respect if you want them to respect you. Which you didn't with LadyMilla.
  11. Having played most of the ES titles (Just not Daggerfall) - I think that ESO is WAY more challenging and that is what makes it enjoyable.
  12. I ban you all cos' no one banned me. :armscrossed:
  13. No your account will not get banned on Steam for using the Nexus. :)
  14. I know. It's not a very funny joke if that's what it was meant to be, that's just ugggh.
  15. That's quite hmmm
  16. I know that feeling :teehee:
  17. I was gonna tell him the same thing, those follower mods get up there for a reason. The sad thing is, it probably would work. But yeah, I'd rather my mods get to the hotfiles for being good, not because there's a half-naked woman in the images. I mean, I like looking at half-naked women, but it doesn't feel right using them to get endorsements. I think I'm going to upload this ENB. I'm quite glad with how it turned out... Also, uploaded Torus (that sword I posted). That looks awesome Billyro! :D
  18. That's why you report these problems to them so they can fix them.
