Another vital question... Did I get chicks? Where would I find those, in the middle of no where out in the Swedish dark forests? It was mostly -30 degrees, full of snow and ice. A city not far away, loaded with 3 regiments. I did ski a lot on Åre during free time and played music with a friend and sold Hamburgers, which gave me €30 more each week as I was also active in the Sweden soldiers union, which did gave me more benefits than ordinary soldiers so I did work hard with free activities for my mates got more money than them in that process. I did also ate hamburgers and we got 3 free meals a day, 4 meals for me. It was like a prison really when I think about it. A pure dull male world. I also set ones a week in meetings with our General. Was that fun? Well he was not to bad really, a nice guy. Old former pilot. He did listen to all my crazy ideas. Did he do anything with my ideas? Nope. I never forget when the free Swedish Air Force Lotta Kår came by for practise. All girls... Damn that was party time. We all went nuts

@JimboUKI do not know right now, what to say... A picture says more that 1000 words... Cross... Do they look like Fallout victims? No way!!! Are they HOT?? I do not answer that... I am stunned... Now comes another question?? Where did they find that makeup? Do we need to implement makeup vendors?? Or what? Does those 2 soldiers really want to look like that? I have met female officers in the Swedish Air force, and they DID NOT use any makeup, still one of them was HOT as hell. 1985. I was also forced to become a soldier boy, nothing I would have chosen really... Now the cold war is over and no one is forced any longer. We learned how to kill Russians as fast as possible. I was a Viggen JA 37 Flight mechanic with a 9mm auto m45. Did I ever shot anyone? Well I was extremely close really. An Owl and a technician officer bicycle at the air force strip one evening. The Owl did scare the s#*! out of me and as a reflex, I draw the security from my weapon and aimed, but put it back down when I saw it was just a gigantic snow owl. Damn I was jumpy... Guarding 20 such planes alone at night, during a couple of weeks. I did chase some german tourists that stopped by. They sure got in a hurry when I pointed at them with my m45. Was our planes a secret? No way, well the back was, as I was not allowed to photo it. Each one did cost 20 million SEK, that is 2 million €. They did weight between 10-20 tons, depending on the fuel. That engine was the most powerful ever made in Sweden by Volvo and SAAB made the planes, still do but now they make the smaller JAS 39 Gripen, with half the weight and economic driving, with unstable flight. Hard to shot down that one for sure. Computers control the plane it someone shoot at it and it makes jumps in the air, knocking out the pilot in the process. Do I want to fly one? HELL NO!!, not as a real pilot. The most beautiful plane in the world. SAAB JA 37 Viggen. If it had enough fuel, it would left the earth. It did never stop accelerating. Computer fails at front wings, JAS 39 Gripen. That code was remade 1999 at Chalmer technical University. I do recall 5 such accidents before the problem was solved. The test pilot did survive this crash. This video shows mechanics, such as myself and how the JAS 39 Gripen works these days. It starts with my plane, JA 37. He did not mention the older planes, as they also was capable of doing the same as JAS 39 Gripen. The goal with this video is to sell the plane, and it succeeded as well. Now we sell the plane to Brasil and Thailand, Finland and soon to the whole Nato. This is now a NATO plane, which it was not when the video was recorded. So does it matter which planes Nato is using against Russia now? Well that is a question that only can be answered with real tests and real fights, nothing else. What about the pilots? They are sick in their heads. Swedish pilots where forced to test the limits, do stuff no one else would ever do. How many got killed in that process? Enough to stop that crazy process and dangerous training sessions. That was NUTS!!! We lost millions of SEK and a lot of good pilots in that process, for what? NOTHING!!! Damn crazy VIKING nutcases. Did the pilots talk to us ever. Well one did and he was nice. The rest where unsocial stone faces that only complained if we made any tiny mistake. When we did leave the plane to the pilot, we where forced to sign papers, that was stored in a safe. When the pilot did sign the paper, the responsibility over the plane was his, not mine. I signed the paper, handed it over to the pilot, he investigated the plane, looking for screwdrivers in the air input, signed it after he investigated the cockpit, handed it over to me and I handed it over to another officer. -Off ye go bloody bastard... How much was a swedish pilot payed 1985? €1000 a month. They did strike a week during my service, did they get more? Nope!! What did I get? €10 a week... I was forced to quit smoking. What did we do during the strike? Well first we fooled around with the planes, we did a lot of service too, tested radar, played with the planes and had fun really. Was hoping the pilots never came back. Engine switches as that we sure needed to train. I do not recall how many engines I did exchange. It only took one hour for each plane doing it. They where on sledges inside the plane.

There is so much material about the Romans. I guess I end it with the death of Caesar Caligula. According to the book that Caesar Claudius wrote, he had just eaten his own baby, that he had with his own sister, and that would had made him into a powerful god. Damn, we could use that info making a quest really. This is so depressing... The second most crazy Caesars in history and I guess only Caesar Tiberius was more crazy. What I had forgotten is how nice the German uniforms did look like in this TV-Series. The Swiss guard still guard the Pope but they use 1400 fashion now but they did that for 2000 years now. Caesar Constantin became the first pope around 350 AC when he became Christian and he formed and built Constantinople in Turkey and moved there as well. I do think it was Tiberius who started to use the Swiss guard for his own protection or Augustus, after the murder of Julius.

@RLTheCoolStudiosYes. I use both and my game runs perfect. So damn good. I do get the impression not many knows anything about the old Rom,an Empire and the true Legion? It was first a Kingdom 700-aprox 400 BC turned into a democracy around 400 BC Turned into an Empire by Julius Caesar around 50 BC US senate is based on French and the old Roman Senate. Julius Caesar and Trump are very similar to each others. Julius Did succeed in making Rome into a Dictatorship. Caesar means Kaiser in German = Emperor. So Julius Caesar did invent the word Emperor he also invented the modern Calendar we use today, edited around 1500 to its final version. Julius was married to the queen Cleopatra of Egypt and they had a son. He was killed in the senate, by 7 senators with daggers. How big was the Roman Empire at its peak? All borders guarded by the real Legion? Look at the straight line above England, that is where the Emperor Hadrian's Wall was built and this is what Rome did look like when he ruled. He ordered the wall to be built to keep the barbarian Scots out of the Britaina province, well England that it is called today, by the Anglo-Saxons, that invaded England after Rome fell apart. So from where did the Anglo-Saxons come from?? Denmark and Holland. That year, everyone started to move around all Europe, no one was safe anywhere. It is called the BIG human migration. Where would you go? Well no where?? Where to be safe? No where at all. All laws ended 463, just simple as that. Anarchy for 1000 years, Christianity since the year 300 when it became the Roman city religion. Before that, they did crucify Christ. Damn, I do recall a funny movie about the crusifiction of Christ and I did see it at the movies. Monty Python's Life of Brian. Damn was that one hilarious? YES. Let's follow the one that killed Christ in this movie. The judes did accuse him for a lot of things but the Romans held the law, and they just needed to make the judeen king happy. That king was also best friend with the real Roman Emperor Claudius Caesar and they did grow up together as well, in the city of Rome. Claudius did write about him in his book, his memories. Not a fun book to read really. Julius Caesars book is not fun to read either. But they sure knew how to make a story of them selves. Julius wrote his whole book, to send it in small pieces to the Roman senate, to keep them informed of his campaign against France, the so called Gallian Wars, before he marched to Rome, took it all over in a civil war. He also later tried to invade Britain, but failed. It was Caesar Caligula that invaded Britain and succeed and he also ate his own baby, alive, that sick bastard. The Switcher guard, the Emperors own life guard had enough and killed him the very same same day and made Claudius into Emperor instead. They where all sick in their heads, Syphilis and stuff like that makes anyone crazy. Caesar Tiberius had a big syphilis mark on his scull. So, according to this crazy movie, the year 33 AD in Jerusalem. This did happen The end of that movie, I did not know if I would laugh or cry, but everyone did learn to sing this song.

Well I did edit the last message so you could also peek at the second film I did add, as that one explains it better I guess. It is so depressing seeing it really. Not a happy movie at all. It is best to just see the whole movie if you can find it, and is interested that is as it was damn well made and good as well, still depressing.

@RLTheCoolStudiosI do think about the year 463, how ROME stopped to work over a single night. Rome was sacked by the Barbarians. The Emperors mom was forced to marry the barbarian. All Legion Salaries was withdrawn imidiatly, eberyone had to find their own way home as best as they where able to. No laws, no nothing, everything was suddenly gone. Well not the earth it self, not Europe, but the laws and Security and the good life in Rome was gone. Europe was drawn into the Dark Ages, that existed for 1000 years, with a lot of suffering. The city of Rome itself, went down from 1 million citizens to 12000, because the water stopped in the channels and the river was pure poison with cholera. Roman people did s#*! them selves to death. The buildings declined fast. I do recall the movie King Arthur did explain this very well. The King Arthur in that movie, was a Roma soldier, that suddenly was out of a job and income. What would he do about it? Well it was not easy nor a walk in a park for sure. Did he suceed? Well yes, until he met his worsed foe ever. He was of course killed. Did he exist really? I do not think so as it is nothing but a legend, a legend made in this dispare. It is also a part of the series the Vikings. Lets see if I can find the trailor of that old movie King Arthur. the Vikings is easier to find for sure. I do recall that I really liked that movie, as it all made sense. The movie starts at the daily Roman life at emperor Hadrian's Great wall, that did divide England and Scotland as the Scots refused to join Rome and Rome could not win over them, that was impossible. Why? Where would they get all manpower to do it? Leave Jerusalem, Egypt, Greece, Germany, to get the whole legion to Scotland? No way. That was impossible. Rome had grown too big. If the legion had done it, they would had lost all the other provinces so that was out of the question. Here we do see the fall of Hadrian's wall. Romans are fleeing for their lives. The legion is falling apart. I guess this video is better really When everything was lost, all money and gold gone, no resources left, well the outcome was Dark ages. So many died. Europe was in chaos. It was not only the Scots that did rebel as everyone all over the known world rebelled. This movie just explains a small part of what did happen that year of 463. Did the ordinary Roman citizen really know what was going on? Nope. The city of Rome was to big for the news to really spread. The decline did happen over a much longer period, but it did decline, not rebuild it self. Nothing ever rebuild it self. Chaos is the normal state of everything.

@RLTheCoolStudiosBut what happens if the player suddenly decide to aid the BOS or the legion or YES Man before Hoover Dam? What will happen with your village? That will require a lot of extra work for sure. Will the Legion wipe them all out as that is what they are good at in game. Will they enslave them? If I would had made this, I made sure it did happen after the second battle of Hoover Dam was finished.
-
@RLTheCoolStudiosYES!!! He did not edit the permissions as it is the default one. I do guess you are able to PM him. I did that a lot in Oblivion, got loads of permissions as well.
-
@RLTheCoolStudios Yes, I agree. I just open up for options, brain storming some, which I am, well I think I am good at, sometimes. Things can be done in 2 different directions, well simple and fun, but that is also fast, but also, what is the goal? The goal is still to make a descent life for the settlers. In any case, I like it, no matter what really. What you decide to do between A and B, does not really matter at all, just that you do something, that is more than nothing. Modding is about having fun after all, within the limits of our own knowledge of the game. The other way is to make it more advanced and realistic with many different steps involved. It is more a question of immersion and RP, and dialogues, than it is in actual models, but new models needs to be made I guess to make it more realistic? Do they need to be advanced? I do not think so really, just a symbolic plant, but we do have everything in game I think already. The energy problem is already a part of the BOS story and the NCR main Q. Expanding and making new villages and new settlements, will only make it worse, not better for everyone. Honestly, it is maybe best to wipe out a part of the survivors really. And the energy problem gets solved. You do not need to do it alone you know... How do we solve this in F4 with SS2? Energy plots are extremely vital and so is water plants, for pure water. It is already implemented there by kinggath. Also agricultural and scavenging plots and it all makes sense but could maybe make the game less stable really. A lot of scripting is involved after all and the game is going down on its knees. Quest scripts will be required, not object scripts as that will slow down FNV. Does it need much scripting at all, a single village? Nope, it really does not. I do not think it will have any impact on the game stability or performance really. Fallout 4 and Papyrus do sux and it is a known problem what happens if your save game gets to big, as it will crash.

@RLTheCoolStudiosIn one way, that would break the current lore but honestly does it matter? Does it? Let me think... We have flying vehicles but I have never seen cars in game. We do have one working train in Washington D.C, one single subway train in the Presidental subway. We do not have any cars, not as I know off and how do we get energy for the cars? We do have a lot of sun in Mojave and water at the Hoover Dam. I suggest we split water H2O with sunenergy, to get Hydrogen and Oxygen, exactly the 2 products used in most Rockets and also soon in cars. The reason it has not been a big thing is the security risks transporting hydrogen. Is there any fossil fuel in Mojave? I guess so. And we also have the old power cells but they are limited. Nuclear power is a big thing but can we make new one or create a new nuclear plant? That is extremely risky. The energy from Hoover Dam is not enough for the current need, so Sun Power stations must be built. I used to pass such station every day when I went to school. Lets peek at it and it would make sense to implement it as well and then we solve the whole energy demand for vehicles transporting water as well. It would had been easiest to just drill for ground water like the Arabs is doing right now in Arizona. We do have one Sun power plant, but what stops NCR to build more now when they are friends with the Brotherhood, if that was your choice? I did choose the Brotherhood and that is a problem as well. Will they be included or not in this project and how? There are many IF. Hydrogen/Oxygen - Water cycle: Hydrogen is also important to allow our cells to do their job, well the electron is and hydrogen transport the electrons. Lets see how a Hydrogen car works: Well, why it failed, which is funnier in one way. Does NCR care? Well they do not and they will try it and the cars will blew up in flames. That is a good story for the game. Perfect. I did invent a Hydrogen bike during a project we had in 3D school together with the web designer pupils. My teammates where mad at me when I tried to explain how it worked as that was none relevant to our project as the goal was to present appealing images and a nice webpage. I did explain it at our presentation extremely briefly and my teacher laughed and thought it was brilliant, as he did not do that often. The gas tube was a twin set of tubes at the rear end of the bike, under the saddle, and if it would had exploded, well the driver would had learn how to fly. That webpage is of course down as we did take it down the day after the presentations was made. All pictures we made is at the school accounts. Otherwise, how do you think we should solve the energy issues? How do we really get the water in detail to the right spot and from where? That could be a very nice quest for sure. Chalmers Technical University hydrogen test facility outside our school. The wooden wall to the left side, has a sign explaining in detail how it works., well similar to this simple sign, but black with white text, very simple. They do mix Hydrogen with Natural Gas below, which is a fossil fuel and a limited resource. We must stop using fossil fuel which also produce CO2. Hydrogen + Oxygen only produce water, nothing else as far as I know. Does NCR cares? Not at the current moment, they do not. Surviving is more vital than climate for NCR, no doubt. It is a life and death situation and short term thinking. I do think an option should be implemented in case the Legion wins. So how did the real Legion worked between 700BC -> 450AC? Well they rebuilt the whole Europe, building high quality roads all over the place, built mines, using all wood resources available, mining out all gold, copper, Iron, making not only Iron but also steel. The Roman collapse the year 453 was because all gold was used, no more resources and people started to have a living hell, + a natural catastrophe with a 10 year short Ice Age period, that wiped out a big part of Europe. One big resource was trees and they did use every damn tree they could find to make Iron as you must melt the rock making it, from Iron Oxide as pure Iron do not exist natural on the earth surface, only RUST, nothing else. Rust is Iron Oxide, the red dust and also make our blood red. Blood do taste Iron, does it not? Did no one else do all that stuff in ROME except the military Legion? Well honestly, NO. It was the job of the Legion, take over all land they could get, rebuild it, also make sure to take slaves and/or hire the locals into the legion and they could also become pure Roman citizens after 20 years of service for the Empire. The Legion was all kind of Europeens and also Africaans. Nubies was damn good with bows and so on. It was the most mixed up army the world had ever seen and still is. Would it be possible to remaker it today? No way. That is impossible. Why? There are not enough resources and not enough targets to raid, simple as that. And no more gold available in the European gold mines. Gold was extremely vital for their success. Roman Sestier's was the world common money and trade item. Later the Italians invented the bank system, but 1000 years later after ROME fell apart. The Vikings, my own ancestors? Well they did almost the same thing but in a much smaller scale and range and smaller operations between the year 763-1066. So just before the Battle of Hastings, when the Viking Normands won over the Britts, there was a big Viking attack against Britain, from Norway, that the Vikings did loose and that was the last VIking battle. Was it? The Normands where also Vikings but they all spoke french and had forgotten that they where Danish. Still, they where psychos, no doubt. Honestly. The modern Mojave Legion is more Vikings than the Romans where. Pure short sighted raiders, nothing else. The Romans however did had a plan, that really did work, expanding and also develop all taken lands. Everyone got it better under Roman rule and no one got it better under the Viking roling of Britain. So my conclusion really is: NCR acts and do stuff exactly the same way as the pure old Roman Legion did. Was everyone happy under Roman role? No way. A lot of uprising did occur under those 1300 years that the Empire did exist. Some of those uprisings are very famous and well documented.

I should turn Danielle Fay into a ghoul and place her at the Light House, for a stroll and picnic ride. We need first to find her book and read the case file in a terminal, trying to find someone or something that can tip us of where she can be. But does not Sam Colt know her story and cannot he lead them to her? Yes he can. Well then we go there and return the book to her, simple as that. Problem solved. Video for myself, in case I cannot find it again.

Making the quest, the Experimental MIRV have taken days but it has also been fun. I would not have done it if it was not for this quest if I am being honest. Collect all Holotapes from the Keller family, 5 separate quets Get the MIRV So the final quest in this series, has 11 steps, guiding the player in detail to the goal of the MIRV. Is it so special? Well, there is a lot to think about when making such quest, with so many stages, specially how to trigger the next step and it is so easy to miss something on the way. Then I have to close down the game, go to GECK, scratch my head and make adjustments, test again and so on. I know right now what I have missed, which I will go back and correct, like checking in which cell the player is in and at what stage in the quest. Damn.. But so fun and challenging. This might be the best quest of them all. So why did this never become a quest at all? Good question as we cannot add scrips to a Holotape, nor we can sense if the player really look at them in F3 or even in FNV, so the trick is to not give a damn if the player listen to it, as that is entirely up yo you, and have nothing to do with the quest progress. I assure you I did have a debate with CoPilot AI about this. So if the player gets in distance of 300 units from the Holotape. BANG, next stage. But for the immersion, just listen to it and debate it with Sam Colt. Do as you want.
-
@Myronchen That sound like fun. It is not the dds you exchange as it is the NIF. It is not easy to make cars, I can promise you that. I will not make it for you, but I sure can guide you making it if you wanna try it that is. I guarantee you that if you get your own made car in game, you will love it more than if I or anyone else make it for you. it does not need to look like my Volvo is doing here, well that 15s film took a week to make.
-
Then use Wrye Bash, the portable version. Worked for me the latest 20 years at least. Latest version available at their Discord. Put mopy at your games\fmv\ folder. Simple as that.
-
@JimboUKSam Colt did look damn pale... I disliked it, so I used my method, added some colors to him. Only male I could find, that looked descent. Well, not his colors though... It seems I have a lot of faces to make. I take one every day or so. Maybe we can use the other more clean ones maybe? IDK, well, I like this one really as it do look natural and still more colorful. I should had taken the screenshots in the same room, with the same light, but never the less, the new one is much better. Specially in full Pip-Boy light, and that really makes me more happy, no doubt. I may change his hair, maybe? Well it sure fits a soldier boy to look like he does, does it not? I really like this guy more and more and he is the only NPC I use right now, well except 2 dogs and a robot that is. Before After - He looks alive now, not half dead or an albino zombie. We cannot see the eye socket colors, but they are there. When we did play live during the 80's, we all used theater makeup, because of all the strong spotlights, which made everyone to look extremely pale and dull. Still, he is not close to how we used to look like. RED lips and Black and blue eyes, rouge, colored faces, brown powder. Still, in that light, we just looked normal, but maybe a bit more cute. In short range, we did look terrible. What did we play back then? 80's rock and Toto and stuff like that, We did Rosanna and I love that song a lot. I did play the ending piano solo as well and I just loved to play it and it sure felt extremely cool to do it and still does. Timing and tightness is vital, as if you fail that, well then you destroy that whole song. Just feel the vibe. Jeff Porcaro, the now dead drummer, became famous for this beat, that is very hard to play on drums for sure. Did our drummer set that beat, he sure did, very good as well. Also, this was how we also looked like, almost the same clothing as well. That was a couple of very fun years for sure. I do think Rosanna was released 1978 at Toto IV. So many good songs came that year really when I think about it. Honestly, this song is better and the sound on this live session is MUCH better. Rosanna is on it as well. But listen to this song first. Toto is also called the tightest band in the world and maybe most boring too. I did see them live 30 years ago, well they where a bit boring, never the less they are damn good. This is better really, more alive...

I am so unhappy with the faces in F3 and FNV so I decided to do something about it. Which Sarah is cutest? I did get some more advice's at the FNV forum, that I have decided to go another step further, save different packages in the process, for you to choose among later on, so keep your eyes open if you want a change for Fallout faces. I am experienced with this stuff, since 20 years back, since Morrowind. You can also read more at the FNV forum, where I created this debate and dialogue in the first place. Not having a link here, at the F3 forum is wrong. I also have more references there, and ideas for the next steps needed to really make faces to look great. Is it possible? Yes it is.
-
I just did type this by mistake in the FNV forum 3 min ago. never mind... Have anyone here seen this video? He talks about a special file needed, I do run F3 without that file, without issues or am I dreaming doing it? What is your reactions? I really think he is wrong at that point, honestly, as I do not recall needing such a file? I do not run the game in any other mode than Win 10, but as administrator with fose. Hpwever, I did test the game first without a single mod to see if it did start and it did, and then I added loads of mods, one in a time, testing it again until I was happy.

[WIP] Collect Unique Weapons Quest
Pellape replied to Pellape's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Status FNV? Well the NPC Sam Colt is created. I did make some basic stuff with him, like making him into a simple companion, adding Repair, a shop and allowing the player to access his inventory, so a lot of basic scripting. I also added the ability to give him body parts for him to study to increase his medicine skills, which gives the player some gold and karma. I did not make him a shop chest yet. The thing is, I do think he use ammo from his own shop when he is fighting, that bastard, without paying himself a bloody dime. He is a bloody thief. In Sweden we are not allowed to use our shops items, not without paying the taxes for them. Who cares? Well honestly, not many. Still it is a matter of how you book keep them really. It is probably best to pay for them so you do not get nasty questions from your accountant. 2 quests are created, the basic quest that holds all variables and basic dialogue and the initiating quest, that starts 2 days after the Hover Dam is completed, where he tells the player who he is and what it is he wants. He also inform the player, that he wants to assist in his quests and so far it works great in F3, where we made 19 quests together so far. The scripting for holotapes are also solved. Is it really important for the adventure to read and listen to holotapes? Well honestly, no it is not, not at all. What is important is to get to the goal and have fun in the process. What happens after we finally made our goals? Well we make up new goals. Where does it all end? IDK!!! It ends when my imagination ends. I did set one final goal in F3, to be able to get to FNV and focus at FNV and that is when we found all original Unique weapons in Washington D.C Step 2 is to find all Unique weapons in New Vegas, using quests. Step 3? I guess, peeking at new worlds, new land areas or quest less caves and similar. How to make my quests to work with them? Well IDK, but one of the mods must be turned into an esm, which one? Well that is hard to answer right now. I do guess it is best to really rename the land areas to esm. Rename and that is it? No way. It must also be flagged as an esm and I will include a short instruction how to do it easy and fast with Wrye Bash , Xedit and GECK. The player has to choose which method they fancy. Why do all that extra work? Why not? I love to follow a quest, simple as that. Team work makes sense to me and my current team mate is Sam Colt. So what if I want him to increase in Science? What should he love to study? Vacuum cleaners? Science is basically used when hacking terminals right? But what else? Repairing? What would he really like to get his hands on to become a better hacker? Something we have no use of at all? Accountants? F3 GECK is much faster to use than FNV GECK. I did try it first on my GFs laptop, and I felt it did take sooo long time, so I installed FNV at my game computer, a new AMD, fast as light but still it sure takes time to create topics and new forms amd objects... Why? IDK!!!. Why is F3 Geck so much faster??? IDK!!! Fose maybe? I use nvse and JIP on FNV GECK. -
Final thoughts, I guess. What is more important and much harder or impossible to answer or explain is. Where did the RNA, DNA, proteins come from and why did all those end up in such a close environment that they managed to start to live? How did that mess end up inside a cell membrane? Time for me to stop thinking and make quests... The whole point is still really: If the citizens of US really wanna save their country and really wanna make it better and great again, they do prioritize the wrong things in life. So what does really NCR need to prioritize in FNV after Hover Dam? How do they really make New Vegas great again? Are each settler capable to take part? I think so. Will they? Obviously not as it still require resources. Where do they get the resources from? Well honestly to start with, pure clay and mud. Clay is a wonderful substance to use in a desert for buildings. Clay is also cheap and CO2 proof. I will watch this video now for sure: So how much clay is available in New Vegas? I would guess a lot really. Can we make it in 3D? Yes, easy I would say. Will it fit with Fallout Lore? I really think so, yes for sure as it makes perfect sense.
-
Some not relevant thoughts, but when I get thoughts, I must write them down - somewhere... Just hypocrisy anyway... Theories... So if I came in to University, what would had been my goals? Figure out what did happen 3.5 billion years ago, the creation of the first cell. Does not the science know that? Nope, no one does. Will we be able to figure it out? I doubt it. Will AI do it? Not a chance. Speculations yes, but real tests? No way. Or maybe study mushrooms and mycelial as that is fascinating, something that is not a plant nor animal. When I walk in the forest, I always stop and study mushroms as they are all so fascinating and beautiful, well the part that we see is, that only have with reproduction to do as we actually do not see the real mushroom and is it something to see? Well lift a rock or some loose wood and see. Is it fascinating? Not what you see is not for sure or is it? Some threads?? The thing is, to prove a theory, it must be tested in 2 separate labs, by at least 2 separate teams to be water tight, the more independent teams , the better. What is required for a cell to live? Well first of all, you need to know what life really is? Descartes, the Swedish Queen Kristina's personal Catholic teacher said or wrote rather. I am thinking, therefor I am. He died of a cold in the castle 3 crowns during a winter, of a bloody cold? Yes, Lemonia. She was first protestant in a protestant country, and became catholic, resigned and fled with 12 wagons filled with expensive stuff to Paris, and later Rome. She hated Sweden, drunken Swedes, the cold and Protestantism. I am atheist, so I do not really care about that, but it sure had an impact on our history, never the less. She did never drink alcohol so imagine how life must been at the Swedish court back then. So we need some DNA, RNA, hydrogen, aminoacid, fat, water, coal and maybe a lightning or whatever? Have this been tried before? Yes, many times but the thing is, something is missing and my wild guess is cyanide. That is a dangerous poison, well yes it is, still in some circumstances, it can be lifegiving as well. Is this really important to know? No, not really as will we still understand it, if we succeed? All substances are poison in wrong doses. Get to much oxygen and you die and also by to much water. Something funnier is really the development of eyes, that did happen at least 2 times in the evolution and flight 4 times. Insects, lizards, birds and bats. The eye is most fascinating for sure. And the brain. How does that one work? No one knows. Lets end this nonsense with a peek at a simple eye as that is pure magic. What is this relevant to FNV? Not at all... Can we use it in a quest? Not that I can think of really... It is just a fun and fascinating subject, nothing else, something that just crossed my mind... And I was bored...

So what about Hover Dam and the great lakes in RL? It will take ages to empty the Great Lakes, well right now it is. The lakes do aid with refilling the ground water, but is it enough? How fast is it possible to empty one gigantic lake? It can go extremely fast. The fourth biggest lake in the world, well it was at one point. Will the great lakes go the same way? Well not as fast for sure. Does it matter for FNV? Not directly but we sure can make a story that fits the bill or the reality. The water MUST come from somewhere. Plants and animals require water on earth. A lot of water. Does our cells in animals require water? No, not in theory, we produce water but must fill up our water level anyway, as we waste more water than we produce, to clean our bodies from waste products. Plants? Yes, water is vital part of a plants cell and chemistry to be able to make sugar. As short and brief as possible: Animals use oxygen o2 and sugar + minerals, which is carbon based energy. We waste and also produce CO2 and H2O, cardonoxide and water Plants use sun energy + CO2 + minerals, waste and produce sugar and Oxygen O2. The sugar is also used as a reserved in crises situations. Specially when there is no sun. I love watching the chemical process in the green cells, chlorophyll, that is and the knowledge is very new as well and it gave those scientists a Nobel Price not long ago. But so damn impressive. How did that occur billions of years ago? No one knows. We can only analyze and watch the current process and trace it back in time. What happens to the minerals? Well nothing really, as they are just help molecules in the chemical processes. Catalyzer's. I did send this video to my biological teacher, and she ignored it, played Lion King and danced instead in front of the class. Did it make me happy? Well no. Did I laugh? YES as that was funny for sure. She also told me I can become an evolution teacher if I want to, and I did some jobs for my former school as well, guarding tests. She was fun and I love Biology. I am to old to become a Biologic scientist, but I did apply to the University for sure. I do miss 200 points to get in. So I became a 3D artist instead. Damn, why did I not do this when I was younger?

@JimboUKAhh. I see. Well and some of my mods is under my old account, not that it has many downloads really. One day, maybe, in my lifetime. I do not plan to play F4 nor Skyrim, to get opt. My mind is blank in those games anyway from a modder's perspective. Most likely because they are more complete with all modder's adds and mods maybe? Well I do not get any ideas when I am playing them for sure and that is vital, is it not?

@RomanRIf I compare those 2 records, well that Hemispheres is much more intelligent made, a step further into their journey into the unknown. They made maybe 20 more records. lets compare those 2 with their final record, which was back to their roots, after trying loads of different turns during their incredible career. I love playing along with this brilliant record. 2112 made it all happen. When this was made, their drummer died. They refuse to use anyone else. He also wrote all the lyrics.

@laclongquan@RLTheCoolStudios @JimboUK It is all about priority. How important is that spot for NCR? They might wanna use their resources there and rebuild the first thing they do after the victory at Hover Dam? One thing for sure, this should not start before the MQ is over and NCR won. Do I wanna see loads of small houses? Well NCR should keep it as simple as they can to make roof over the settlers heads, keep them dry in the rainy desert. Well warm at least during the cold desert nights and cold during the hot days. AC is vital for sure. Lots of Gecko meat, vegetables and water as well, corn or potatoes. Dirt is also vital, not just sand and watering plants. There is water down below. In the reality, the Arabs are now drying out the ground water level in US, right as we speak. It is not mentioned in this video, but they own a lot of land in US desert, drying out the whole US in the process. Those areas are forbidden for filmmakers to visit or photograph. Private areas. The south west NCR base is built in this way, simple and effective. Can we make this in game? Yes for sure and honestly we should as well. Are they really drying out US? Slowly killing it? Yes, the groundwater level get lower for each year and fast from a geologic perspective. Does anyone notice it and talks about it? No everyone is now focusing in the upcoming civil conflict and no one really cares nor can do anything to save that country or its 250 million citizens. US is doomed. Does the current president know about this? I doubt it and I doubt he cares. What if she won? IDK... I doubt that as well really, How would the law react if she tried? How would the other side react if she would take this fight? No ones know.
