  1. Spielst du Vanilla oder hast du Mods? Wenn ja dann wäre eine Modliste sehr praktisch.
  2. Me too, I always get bored in between levels 20 - 30 and start a new character.
  3. Why don't you try 'Familiar Faces' http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54509/? Whith this you can build a shrine in honor of your characters and add them to another playthrough as ally or opppnent.
  4. I wpuld choose Morrowind as well. You start as a weak nobody and become an unstippable force by the end. No other TES game managed to achieve that. I admit that it has it's flaws and that nostalgia plays a big part in this matter. However, the many mods that came out in the past 12 years kept it fresh. Oblivion is an interesting world as well but it has very little replay value imo. On the other hand, it has some of the most memorable characters in all the TES world. especially those from the Dark Brotherhood. Skyrim and it's huge amount of mods is the best game if you want to create very specific characters. Its bigbest flaw are the major quest lines. All of them are too short and too linear. These are all the TES games I played.
  5. Never Mind. Found it. I just didn't look very well. Topic can be deleted.
  6. Hey guys, I didn't know wether this was a subject before or if it's the right forum so please move if necessary. I just started playing New Vegas and I wanted to finish it vanila first. Right now I'm doing the ''Volare'' quest for the Boomers and I have to raise a B-29 Bomber from a lake. I asked Loyal what to do and he told me that it's indicated on my Pip Boy. The problem is that it doesn't show me where to go on my Pip Boy when I activate the quest. Didn't find a sollution to this problem on the first three pages of Google search results. Also didn't find this bug on the quest side on Nukapedia. Anybody familiar with this? Thanks in advance
  7. I think it would be easiest to just play the japanese version of Skyrim. Depending on how well you know the game, you know what the NPCs are saying. This way you can pick up single words and familiarize yourself with the sound of the language. This can also help in understanding a little bit of grammar. However, if you really wannna learn the language (read, write , speak, listen) there is no way around doing some of the ''boring stuff'' like vocabulary lists or particle order. I don't wanna discourage you, on the contrary, just expose yourself to some japanese and read up what you don't get. I'm doing the same with russian. I played hundreds of hours of Morrowind so I know the game inside out. Got me a copy of the russian Morrowind version about a month ago. It really helps when you know the content.
  8. Good day everyone, I was thinking about a mod where you can make living by being an author. Something where you can write a book and then give it to an NPC who acts as your publisher who'll give you some gold from your sales. This NPC could be added to the bards college and you could talk to him every couple of days to get your gold. I don't know wether this is possible or not but it would be great idea for roleplaying a bard who doesn't sing. Didn't find anything like this on the nexus.
  9. There is a tiny little thing that bothers me with the ''Winter is coming'' mod which adds plenty of fur coats to the game. I have it activated on my followers as well. When I play Skyrim I like to dress up according to the weather conditions, meaning I don't wear armor in cities, I wear blacksmiths apron while smithing etc. When it gets cold I like to wear a coat and so should my followers. Problem is that they then always wear it, even in warm weather conditions. If I want them to stop wearing their coats I have to take it away from them untill they reequip another one when it gets cold again (I wonder where all these coats come from). Question is: Is there a mod or a way that lets your folllowers equip their coats only when it is freezing? (I use Frostfall, if that is of any importance) Thx in advance!
  10. Where did you get that copy in russian? I'd like to improve my russian and I would lovw to play Morrowind in russian.
  11. Did you use google translate? Well most of it was pretty much incomprehensible. What I could get out of it is that you needed a mod that can turn your followers into werwolves/vampires. This is possible with amazing follower tweaks. English (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15524/?) Spanish (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37905/?) Everything else I didn't get because I don't know any spanish. I would recommend to stick to english here on the nexus or use very simple spanish. Anyway, I hope this was helpfull.
  12. Do you mean something like Frostfall (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11163/?) or Ineed (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51473/?)? With these you'll have to prepare for the cold climate in Skyrim and you'll have to eat, sleep and drink. Or did you mean something else?
  13. What mods are you using? I remember an issue in requiem where it didn't show the left handed weapons on argonians.
  14. Got that one as well. Was just as surprised:)
  15. When a guard tells me "Lightly armored means light on your feet. Smart.'', even though I'm not wearing any armor whatsoever. How's he supposed to know that?
  16. I dont't think it'll cause any trouble. I used to play the german version of the game and I modded it a lot. The untranslated parts just remain in English so I assume that it works the same way in the russian version. As long as your game can display latin letters there shouldn't be any issues.
  17. According to UESP you start to get Daedric weapons from level 46 onwards (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Weapons). Quest rewards for the civil war quest line are mostly gold. At the end of the imperial site of the cw you'll be rewarded with a leveled sword. All otherweapons you find on bodies. So it's quite plausible that you get plenty of daedric weapons after level 46.
  18. I agree that those survival mods mentioned by the op are not for everyone and that you should be able to customize those via mods. I'd like to have a broader variety of quests and guilds and also I'd like to feel the consequences of my actions. In skyrim I can kill half of Riften and nobody will remember that after I pay my bounty. In terms of guilds I like more of them, with longer questlines. Let there be two mages guilds. One for the good people and one for necromancers for example. Let these guilds fight each other to increase replay value. Maybe there could be different paths to choose within a guild. For instance a line of quests for alteration mages and one for destruction mages. Also my choice of race should impact the way people iteract with me. In skyrim I can play a khajit and still be able to enter all the cities even though all the others are not allowed inside. A good example of race choice in skyrim were the orc strongholds. Bethesda should expand on that. Bethesda should take care of everything that requires a lot of voice work for certain people in the game. Like the way poeple talk to you depending on what race you are. Everything elese can be modded.
  19. I think it's already too late when you're in that shack with Astrid since you killed an old helpless lady before that in order too get to this situation. From a philosophical point of view it doesn't really matter if you kill Astrid or one of the three people in the shack since murder is morally questionable anyway. In game murder actually poses a less significant moral dilemma in my opinion. The polytheistic nature of religion in the game grants you more choices than just black and white so if you appease a deity's wishes, wether it is good or bad in our point of view, you can receive salvation. There is no uniform way of afterlife in the game anyway. Only Nords are granted a place in Sovngard and Argonians born under the sign of the shadow are forced to serve Sithis so it also depends on the race you're playing. To answer you're question about you're soul in the afterlife. I think you should worry more about being a hedonist (like most people in our generation, including myself) who plays video games all the time. If you do that it doesn't really matter what you play. Then it is just as bad playing a noble knight (who also kills people during his adventures).
  20. Luckily I was just running around in Windhelm practicing spells :)
  21. Never Mind. I found out the issue. I didn't know that magicka costs increase when your stamina is low. Thanks anyway.
  22. I forgot to mention a crucial point. The magicka cost suddenly increases after a couple of minutes of gameplay. When I started, the raise dead(rank1) spell cost 72 magicka. After 5 minutes or so it suddenly cost 208. That's the thing that bothers me.
  23. Hello guys, I just started a new character. It's my first time with requiem. I play as a Breton necromancer and I invested one of my three starting perks in that tree. The problem is that the two conjuration spells that i got after investing the perk (raise dead and bound sword) cost 208 magicka to cast. I'm level 1 and with my novice robes from the college I only have 160 magicka. Is this normal? How am I supposed to level that skill if I can't cast any spells? What's the point in getting a free spell by investing a perk if you can't cast it? I play on adept. I wonder if this is caused by another mod.
  24. 3.Gold and arrow weight are also available seperately. Gold: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/650/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21606/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41680/? Arrows: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37816/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28264/?
