  1. I'm looking for a replacer, because most NPC's are ugly like hell. ;) One of the biggest Tamriel NPC's Revamped (TNR) you can find an OMOD for it here but I would still look at the homepage and research if its to your liking first.
  2. By and large the 3 most used Female mods are Exnem, HGEC and variants, and Fantasy Figures (TF/UFF). Roberts Male is pretty much the Default for Males since its supported, adopted, and converted by many modders. I think as the modding community goes on HGEC and its variants are going to win out in the end for female bodies as a default choice since its still getting more and more development and support.
  3. HGEC will by far allow you the most choices not just in body types but in armors and such converted to the new body. For males there are a few choices but Roberts Male utterly dominates due to being adopted and supported most widely.
  4. First, if they do it at all its likely to be much more like Fallout in its use of "partnerships" with MS live and other revenue and distribution streams. Its simply too expensive to do it any other way inside the US. One of the main issues facing the TES franchise is that after 4 versions they have to come up with new content and plots. Frankly the game has been popular enough were its fanbase is as much a hazard as a benefit. The game has been out for more than 3 years and there are still disagreements over Lore/non-lore mods and down ratings etc. I think it would be difficult to do something that resolved many of the short comings of the series without a retcon or time advance. In each case they get to make the world anew in their idea for the new storyline. The benefits for this approach are that in essence they get to keep whatever they want from OB and discard whatever they don't like.
  5. The question is would they be better off to continue TES with its built in fanbase even if they had to retcon or advance time dramatically to do the next game or just dump all the headaches and start over. Unfortunately its not a question we are in a position to answer.
  6. I don't. I have the D2D version so no OBSE for me and several thousands of others for whom it doesn't work. I must admit I find the increasing dependence on it rather annoying.
  7. This is the reason I now use Cosmetic Compilation Revived since it has a lot of good features already edited in.
  8. Or you could mod the Vamp experience. I use BetterVampires with Vampire Aesthetics for a nice Vamp game every now and again. I do recommend you increase the game difficulty and use something like MMM if you go this route, Vampires are seriously tough as PC's.
  9. Have you tried talking to the Better Cities people? They translated Bananasplits mod from German I believe. They might at least now why yours is crashing or have some advice.
  10. For OBMM bookmark this Site It has pretty much everything you would need for OBMM. You may hear about Wrye Bash or BAIN which is a bash install so for that you go Here. Is there anything else specifically?
  11. The house mod at the top of white Gold tower is called "Top of the World". Well since a lot of posts was lost and theres no way to see if someone repsonded to mine, Ill just ask again. :P Anyway, im looking for an english mod that adds Valenwood either as its own worldspace or in addition to the Tamriel worldspace. Aren't you trying to translate the German version?
  12. Best I can say is to uninstall the Deadly reflex then ask for help in its release thread, on Nexus or "official" thread by Skycaptain who is the mod author
  13. If you are going to run the texture pack look into using Tes4LodGen to help with Level of Detail to help reduce some of the FPS issues.
  14. Btw theres a long FAQ on the forums http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=21998
  15. ok so lets go over the steps. 1. Download the mod. 2. If mod is a .zip file or archive unpack the mod. 3. Open mod folder and check the read me, follow same. 4. If mod has a Data folder copy it to the Oblivion directory and select overwrite, if mod has no Data folder but folders like meshes, textures, sounds, etc or just a .esp file than copy those into the oblivion/data directory. 5. start oblivion select data files check the boxes from the new mods. 6. Make sure one of the mods you have downloaded is ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated 7. Get Oblivion mod manager. 8. Read the FAQ Edit: Dezi types way faster than I do (
  16. I still think you should be checking 2ch and some of the Korean and Chinese sites (mostly blogs) but good luck finding them on an English language site.
  17. Did you consider asking HZ if they would consider adding a stripped down compact to that mod?
  18. Wouldn't a custom grenade be better? Timing script is already attached.
  19. Can you replace the Rivit City Security Combat armor with this? The Blue and Gold would look awesome and explain why a rusty tin can has no one messing with it.
  20. My impression was that you really need to check every nook and cranny in the ship as you go along. Unfortunately you can't go back thru the airless bits that I've found after completing it.
  21. Mothership Zeta has some interesting weapons: Cyro grenades which do a little damage and freeze your target for a bit, Cryo mines which do the same just for a bit more. In addition there are new Alien energy pistols, Rifles, and a new energy based launcher. In addition there are some uniques: Unique Plasma Pistol Unique Alien E Pistol Unique Alien E Rifle Unique Alien E Launcher As well as an energy pistol called the Captains Sidearm which uses the Alien Blaster Model. While all of these do more damage then any energy weapon except the Alien blaster or the Firelance it seems the Aliens are a bit resistant. Edit: if anyone wants I can give you the codes for these.
  22. So I've now completed Zeta and was fairly impressed with it. Pro: They made good use of the general alien abduction bit and its rather funny if you listen to the Holotapes. The graphics were good and the weapons design was good. The alien controls and shields had a nice gfx so no complaints there. There's a lot of material of use for mods in it. The storyline was pretty straight forward and about what you would expect. A companion or two make themselves useful but they do as well as background filler as anything. Cons: Short, maybe 5 hours worth. At level 30 critters both deal damage and soak it up so it really eats ammo. All in all I liked it but wish it was longer. However, like most of the DLC content complete this early and not much in the Main Quest will stand a chance against the tech here.
  23. I believe its Igbys work but its not hosted here, there's an entry but just gives you a link. Its the Red_Eyes mod and its Here
  24. I've been wanting to use Scriba Robes and finally gave it a go, unfortunately it gave me some issues with the BABE mesh. Now I would like to know if its possible to get this to use the BABE mesh with just the GECK or should I just overwrite the texture with the original and move on.
