EDIT, so for future adventurers trying to do the same, I mimic'd Malenia's personal effect. She heals on hit but its different than our Bloodborne-esque Malenia effect. What I did was make the healing effect. Make it 0 seconds and 0 interval so it procs once. Tick "Delete in Wait Mode" so it only procs on this moment and all at once. Make it a unique new StateInfo ID, obviously I am a man of culture so I went with "7777", and put it in the second slot, below "State Info", you actually want this to invoke the effect so it needs to be "Trigger On State Info". Whatever slot in that category works. This ensures the the effect only procs when you have that stateinfo active. This was all on the effect itself, the healing effect. Make sure it is tagged as "Trigger for Self" and target the usual targets, basically everything. Now to "unlock" the effect so it procs, you will need to get the talisman you want it on, or the armor, or whatever way you want the effect to be active on you, and simply put this new effect on it that we will make. Make or copy the new effect, have it too ticked for self trigger, basically have it blank, have the effect itself have a duration of -1 as well as the interval. Have the State Info ID itself be 7777 this time rather than the trigger on stateinfo. This way the talisman gives the state info, which allows the effect to trigger. Not much to do on this effect, its more just a key to unlock the heal effect. You can put health regen or something on it if you want, but bare in mind the stateinfo is already taken and it has an infinite duration so. Do not tick "Delete in Wait Mode" for this one. Now the somewhat dangerous part, I'd advise only mass editing actual projectiles you can guarantee are the player's, like arrows and stuff like that, else you'll end up with weirdness or potentially replacing important effects. Go to Bullet in the param editor and highlight all the bullets you want to heal (yes I know, it sucks) and just mass edit the 4th target effect slot to the healing effect that triggers when you have the talisman or whatever on. If you have the talisman which gives the effect which gives the stateinfo, these projectiles will heal you, if you don't have the effect, nothing will happen.

I'm working on an overhaul that I might end up uploading here later down the line and for the life of me can't figure arrows and stuff out. Let's say the accumulator effect state, build up to that accumulator amount and you get the effect, which could be a heal, for example the Godskin Swaddling Cloth, poke a dude a few times and poof, heals. This effect does NOT work, however, for arrows and bolts or thrown items since they don't "accumulate" on hit, and I can't figure out how to make them do so. I also can't get the effect of Blasphemous Blade to work either since this isn't a spawning projectile like from the ash of war, this is an effect that would let you get the effect of the Blasphemous Blade hitting, not a projectile hitting and healing the caster. I have also looked into the Deathbed Dress to try to simulate that on hits, like getting another special effect in the cycle that lets me put the effect on the target then bounce a projectile back to me that heals me. I just can't figure that out, it won't work for me. It has been one whole week today that I have been trying to simply get an effect that gives me healing arrows/kukri/smithscript weapons. Anyone got any insight? The modding discord also won't even give me a single reply.

It's called the creation kit lol. And yes I can't even currently make perks without the game crashing or them not working so we are a ways away.

Yeah good luck with this one. You obviously aren't a modder yourself else you'd know how hard it would be to correctly implement this.

That would 100% take some decent scripting right there. You could make a mod that adds thrust via mods on your armor very easily, but THIS is heavy.

I have been working on this mod for about 3 weeks now but am running into some problems, so I'm going to redo the mod from the ground up and build around knowing the problems rather than experiencing them. If you were expecting the sister mod to Reblanced Weapon Legendaries then that's where it's at. Gonna be a second.

Would need a function or trigger to play the animation, which would need to be added as well, of you getting in and out of the PA, would need a separate system for durability of the PA parts, which is an engine level system not easily "added" in, would need a system of protection from the PA, in previous games you have the PA frame which gives the fall damage, 40% DR, radiation resist, then 6 pieces on top of it, which in starfield there is only like 3, suit helmet and pack. So it's not "impossible" to do, just as I said I doubt it'll happen, at least over the next year or 2.

Takes a whole lot more than a keyword and some actorvalues to make functional power armors. I'm not gonna say "I doubt" it'll happen, but I doubt it'll happen. Especially any time soon. Also yes. Bethesda has ALWAYS done this, they just build upon existing structure. You'll still find stuff left over from skyrim, and hidden references to oblivion and fallout 3 as well.

You literally have to hex edit in the weapons to an esm, then edit the esm through xedit, and half the stuff in xedit isnt even deciphered yet. Starfield isn't currently "super" moddable nor is it the same as past games at all, it's similar, but I've hit walls recently I haven't encountered in previous games. Not as easy or user friendly as it seems, especially adding new stuff or scripting. -
I am working on the same thing as a few other people, but my idea is a little different. I know there was a way to do it in fallout 4, I did it, as a personal mod. I can't seem to remember exactly what it was that I did since its been... 4? 5? years since I did it (I hate fallout 4's story, not replayable for me) and so Im hoping to find someone else on here that has done the same thing I did, or similar enough to work. I know I can't be the only one who did it. What it involved is attaching a keyword, a single new keyword that I made, and attaching it to a default object, might have been... another keyword? the player perk? something.. I can't remember exactly, but what I did is used it to attach the new keyword to existing weapons, and it worked without modifying existing or new weapons, maybe it was the Receiver keyword? Just can't remember. I tried making an attachpoint to legendary T1 slot which introduced 10 keyword slots as upgrade slots on the core (the omod name) but it didn't work ingame and Im so close to doing it, Im just a little off. Either way... in layman's terms - I made a new keyword. I attached the new keyword to existing weapons using like a perk or existing omod, and it was an attachment point, which let me make universal weapon mods (increase dmg, etc). Trying to remember exactly how I did it, hoping to find someone else who did something similar. I will credit you of course in the mod for helping me, I just need to remember how and I will do all the work in xedit.

Looking to find the way to hex edit for example the range or damage of a weapon from a hex editor, out of curiosity. Replacing a whole weapon or swapping keywords is easy, but what about specifically stats of weapons or armor? Yes I know I could use the CK or xEdit, but I wanna learn in hex if it is possible since Im trying to learn hex.

Indoors - Ok Outdoors - out of the 11 times I have tried, 1 time loaded. Heavily modded game, but I have 3 patches and so far have only crashed when talking to Blake Abernathy, so the game is stable, I can play for hours but when I attempt to continue where I left off, I can't unless I am indoors, tested multiple times. I have 635 mods yes yes.. "too many", which isn't necessarily true, but I am hoping someone can see which mods they know of off hand that do not play well together or that could be causing this weeeeeird ass issue. This is so far the only major issue this playthrough so.. save your breath with the "too many mods" yeah? The game takes about 10 mins to load into a save, but it do, and playing well? Disclaimer, it probably isn't lore friendly. For the past 6 or so hours, I've been nonstop working on a mod that adds more buildings and destruction, more things to hide behind, some small forts with fiends, and blockades making you have to go another route. This is just supposed to add more post apocalyptic feel to the game like Fallout 3 had, that is all. FNV feels super empty and boring honestly, and it is way to quick to get from place to place by walking, so I am trying to change stuff up a bit. I wanted Vegas to be a city.. not like... yknow.. what it is.. So I am adding more s*** to everywhere, the strip outskirts included, not Freeside or Westside since mods already handle those, but expect more stuff everywhere, especially main settlements like Novac, Primm, Goodsprings, and some small additions to Nipton and other funky places like those. Shame no one has already made this.. and the one that did start it made my performance DIEEEEE and there was floating s#*! everywhere and missing floors to roads etc.. Im checking ingame how it looks, and then I will continue working, my Geck is loaded into the Gun Runner area currently, next project, So far Ive remastered Goodsprings, totally f***ed up Primm and made it into a destroyed city, not a ghost town but an actual used-to-be city with assets from Fallout 3 leftover in the Geck. Ive added 3 forts with fiends and/or gangs along highways frequently traveled by the casual player. - one directly on the way to Primm, on near the Nevada Patrol Station and the ghouls, and the 3rd one so far near Nipton in the gulch you get ambushed in. I have added various random objects and buildings along the sides of roads in long boring areas, flipped trucks, army trucks, bodies, burnt down s***, rocks.. lots of rocks.. blocking your way and changing scenery from what it used to be. I have not added interiors, and probably won't but it isn't a strict no for the foreseeable future, just not on my radar yet. I have been making it with AWOP in mind and loaded into the Geck while using it to not conflict. And I am trying to remember Electrocity exists. I am going to be adding more stuff and making cities of the locations, but I am one person and that means I have few ideas, I'm looking for some, so let me know what you think may be cool in what locations, even vague ones are good. So its super game breaking for me, gets me f*#@ed up in firefights too, but after about an hour of playing, my game randomly starts having procedural stutters. I have a solid 45 FPS at all times, which I custom capped with my Nvidia controller, and every... 4? 5? seconds, my game totally freezes for about 1 second then goes back to normal FPS, my FPS counter in the corner catches it as well, goes from about 45 FPS to a straight 26.. though thats just what the game catches, my ACTUAL game totally freezes for 1 second straight. It isnt performance, it isnt lag, Im not downloading anything, no vsync, everything is fine, I don't quite understand. Someone play god and shed some light for me?
