  1. Has anyone experienced something like this? Where your Pipboy won't light the immediate ground depending on the direction you're facing? I noticed this outside the Prospector's Saloon; in normal wilderness terrain, everything seems to work ok.   2. Is anyone still running this these days? I've never played it, got it off fileplanet, but I'm worried about its CTD issues.
  3. Been a while since my last playthrough of New Vegas... so I was wondering if there was any way to fix this graphical glitch? When zoomed in very far, the edges of certain textures will flicker.   4. Setting ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 in SKSE can reduce save bloat; so, I was wondering if this function is present in NVSE?
  5. Yeah, the merged patch is done but, try as I might, I can't get Wrye to load up despite having repeatedly installed the Python utilities. I'll look at that manual again, thanks.
  6. I have my game set up the way I want... almost. Every now and again, I'll get an inexplicable crash; I'd really like to track down and solve these issues. Is there any tutorial available on conflict detection from within FNVEdit?
  7. Try "PCB" in your console, see if that helps. And how big is your save?
  8. Firstly, I already have bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 and this only happens on one character model that I am aware of: female raiders. In my efforts to troubleshoot pale heads, I have cleared out my data folder and begun anew. The issue is specific to this npc model and only arises after I install Mission Mojave. My quesiton is: if I open up FNVEdit, what am I looking for in regards to races with differently shades heads?
  9. Using multiple packs because NMC covers more of the game but at slightly lesser quality. So I overwrite NMC with Ojo for the parts that Ojo covers (which is about 10% of NMC).
  10. Yeah, I've invalidated. And I have all Ojo textures installed except the Securitron package. Using 4gb enabler; only up to 95 esp/esm... hmm, what else.... I've also used the texture optimizer, but I believer I've seen this pop up before I ran it. Not sure what's going on. It's pretty rare, I'll maybe spot something once every 10 hours. And as I said, a reload will fix it. I was primarily wondering if anyone else has experienced something similiar?

  12. 100% way to track your problem(s): Delete/redownload your data folder. load your game and create a "Clean Save" w/out modsInstall/activate each of your mods one by one, checking your game's stability after each one inside the clean save.Be mindful of your install order; I like to install larger, more comprehensive mods firstBe sure to, at the very least, use BOSS for a mostly stable load order. The likelihood of finding the exact cause of a crash is doubtful if you're trying to pick it out from a jumbled mess of mixed mods.
  13. So very tired of this. Been intermittent for the past week, but today it's down for good.
  14. Download and run BOSS http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35999/? to set your run order. It's familiar with 95% of the mods out there. Then download and run FNVEdit http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34703/? - if the initial loading finishes, that means you have no .esp dependencies out of wack. If it doesn't finish, read the error message to locate the missing mod or esm. If you're still crashing after that, you'll likely need to post more information regarding the mods you're using to inform people who know more about FNV modding than myself.

Was hoping someone could chime in with either a solution to eliminate this inside of GECK or perhaps a lead on which of my mods is causing a Windmill to pop up in a strange place near the Saloon in Goodsprings. Not only does it barely have any clearance between buildings but two of its legs are up in the air. I'm thinking it might be the Mission Mojave fix pack?   16. First things first: I'm aware of save game bloat but this is a new game and the save games are only around 4mb in size. I'm running a couple mods I have never used before and wondering if anyone can give me any leads on what might be causing my save games to take ~30 seconds to load instead of my typical ~5. Notable mods that I'm running: Mission Mohave Ultimate Edition (first time running this, I'm very suspicious on conflicts)AWOPEVENew Vegas Redesigned 2 Project NevadaMCMWeapon Retexture ProjectWasteland FloraNMC texture pack (large)Nevada Skies URWLifiedNew Vegas Bounties IIWSMTUIOne HUD Although I've created a merged patch with FNVEdit, I'm truly at a loss on how to check for conflicts (if that is indeed the problem). Does anyone have experience on combining the above mods or with inexplicably long load times for save games? My area transition load times are perfectly normal.

I've been searching for the past hour to no avail... somewhat stupefied that there's nothing this basic available :( Toggle UI no longer works with the latest patch iHud comes packaged with features incompatible with other HUD mods and doesn't support hiding undiscovered locations, so it's out as well... Skyrim Compass Tuner is my last hope for a HUD overhaul but it has no option to toggle the compass on and off. So I was looking to combine Compass Tuner with a simple? hotkey to toggle its compass. Help? Bumping is not allowed. --LM
  18. I've read about 30 pages but have seen no answer to this: Is there a mod that allows proper hotkeying of dual wield weapon & magic setups?
  19. I'm finally getting around to playing Skyrim... and I CANNOT STAND the lack of hotkeys for dual wielding setups. It feels like I need to blunder my way into equipping a certain spell on the left hand and a different one on the right. The same for dual-wielding weapons. Is there a mod available to fix this garbage?
