Would someone please tell how one downloads Nexus files without logging in to Nexus. After you have informed me of this explain it to the NMM. I have been unable to download files because NMM tells me that I am not logged in to Nexus. If I was not logged in to Nexus how the blankety-blank could I download a file. Whoever inserted that log-in requirement in NMM is unprintable; if it is possible to download files from Nexus without logging in to an account I will apologize. Also why do I have to log in to the Forum after I have already logged in to Nexus, this is the third time I have logged in to this site without ever logging off.

I had Project ENB by Boris316 but had not reinstalled that when I reinstalled C of T. I reinstalled that after I had posted and that seemed to do the trick. I still have no idea why when I upgraded SKSE it seemed to change my defaults for those files. Thank you for your input.

When I upgraded to SKSE 0.1.7.0 the next time I went into a dungeon it was so dark I needed a torch to see. As I have Project Reality Climates of Tamriel; which I like very much; I believed it had something to do with this file. So I went into NMM clicked on Project Reality and read the info. on it which told me how to adjust the lighting by going into the enbseries.ini file and changing some of the parameters. My problem is I do not have a enbseries.ini file in my Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim folder. I uninstalled and reinstalled Project Reality but no luck. The only enb file I could find was in my Intel video card file and that was enblocal.ini. I feel it must have something to do with the mods I have or maybe it is my system; whatever I have no idea either how to find the problem or how to fix it if I did find it. I have literally looked in almost every file associated with Skyrim on my hard disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated'

No I do not have ENBoost installed; I will certainly look into installing it. Thank you for your help.

I recently tried to install SSME from Nexus and was unable to; had nothing to do with Nexus as the file downloaded properly. It unzipped to the two files which the installation instructions said it would; d3dx9_42.dll and ssme.ini and I then copied them into my Skyrim folder as instructed. Unfortunately I did not get the desired result which was the creation of the file ssme.log. I copied the files into my Steam Skyrim folder and when that did not work into my Documents/My Games/Skyrim folder with the same results. I can't help getting the feeling that I am doing something wrong I just do not know what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I download a file to OBMM instead of NMM? I Have been using Download Manager and it automatically downloads thru NMM. I do not know how to download to OBMM; if you could explain the process, keeping in mind I am very much a computer idiot, I would be grateful. Thank you.

I recently downloaded Deadly Reflex 6 OMOD; after reading the required files for this file I also downloaded DR 6 patch and NifSE. I downloaded all these files with NMM. When I started to install the files NifSE installed but when I tried to install Deadly Reflex I got a Script not found message with this error message " Parser Errors 17.162 Unexpected input ".". ". I have OMM and OSE and do not understand what script that could be missing. I checked in my Oblivion Data file and NifSE is installed in the correct files according to the readme.file. I have heard that NMM sometimes does not recognize OMM scripts; if this is the case what can I do about it? I have heard good things about Deadly Reflex and would really like to try the mod so any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded DF and the other files which the page said were necessary; NifSE. the Deadly Reflex patches even Lit Torches, although I fail to see why this mod is necessary. I could activate NifSE and Lit Torches but when I tried to activate Deadly Reflex or the Deadly Reflex Patch I got a script error message ; "Parser Errors 17.162 unexpected input ".". Can anyone help? I would really like to use this mod.

I just installed Nexus Mod Manager and this is the first time I have used it. When I attempted to download the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch using NMM I was told to select an application to download to. I really do not know what kind of application the program wants. Could someone explain this to me or point me to a tutorial for downloading mods using NMM, thank you. When I used the NMM on Skyrim it put The Unofficial Skyrim Patch under the Dawnguard, Hearthfire , and Dragonborn esm. When I moved it to the top as recommended I got a red message stating that although the USP is an esp file the NMM considers it an esm file.

My problem is that SKSE did not install, evidently because it could not find this TESV file. I faithfully followed all the tutorial instructions up to that point and did not install any of the files into the DATA folder. Do you have any idea what a TESV file is?

When I attempted to install SKSE. after I launched Steam and double-clicked on the shortcut to skse_loader.exe I got an error message saying "could not find TESV.sxe". Does anyone know what this file is and what it has to do with SKSE?
