  1. Did you get the latest drivers from nVidia? I just got a new driver from them and it fixed about a dozen little annoyances, Me: GeForce 960 4Gb DDR 5 Intel I7 4790 @3.6GHz 16Gb RAM Windows 10 Home Video Driver 361.91 Running Ultra Settings in Game @ 1440x960 Display Vizio 32" LED via HDMI From the recent Specs, you should have no problems running in Ultra... Is that a Laptop??? I am unfamiliar with your actual Processor... there should be no real limitation there,,, and from the Specs on your GPUs, you should be in Overkill Mode.
  2. Since I can't seem to find a way to make my Scraping mods target these Synth bodies, I made a keyboard macro to modpos them outside of my settlements. So far, it's working. As of late today, it no longer is working by using modpos,,, I did a file validation through steam and updated about 2 dozen mods. After about 2 hours of disabling and re enabling mods I am no closer to being able to move the dead Synth Brahmin. If I use modpos, they pop right back and soon as I exit console.
  3. In the past 2 days I have started having random CTD, if I try to load a recent Save while I am playing. I am NOT using the New Beta (or any Beta) I have not installed any new mods this week. I checked my Validation and it was successful. I can immediately restart Fallout and load and continue the save that I wanted to use. I am perplexed at this one... any ideas? MODS:
  4. I was looking for a little more Immersive way... I thought they would disappear with a Cell Reset, but that does not seem to be the case. Thinking about modpos, but IF they are going to Linger for a long time, like to have a mod that would move them to a "Holding Cell" ie some little crazy command like "MoveBodyToDump" of course I'd have to create a Cell named dump first, then write a script to do it...
  5. Oh the first... several hours in... I was taking Virgil his serum came up on 3 Deathclaws having at it. I stealthed (was alone too) I was just watching the fight when a Legendary and a Normal Radscorpion got me from behind... at least I had a Save about 5 minutes earlier. I could have Fast Traveled, but I just wanted to explore a bit. Immersion can kill you :nuke:

Since this is the Spoilers section, I felt that it was appropriate to discuss the subject here,,, I have Settlement Aid (That is how I locate the spies) I have Scrap Everything and Scrap Dead Things mods. I have piles of dead Synths at a couple of my settlements that will not scrap, I can have a dozen dead Raiders, Super Mutants, Gunners and Deathclaws lying all over, but they readily scrap. I have a couple of Synth Spy Brahmin lying in the way that I cannot move at all... even in Power Armor. In Fallout 3 you could move some cars and Super Mutant carcasses if you were in Power Armor. The other subject is WHY does everyone attack you for killing a Spy... They do it in Diamond City and Good Neighbor and no one goes Ape $#it! Yet, I do it and Followers and Settlers loose it. I killed one and had Piper loot it... she didn't say squat about finding a Synth Component.. guess she was still pissed that I shot it in the head... I have resorted to putting a bed in a secluded section of the settlement and when I spot one, assign it to that bed. When the settlers go to bed, I either sneak up close and shoot them with a Silenced 10mm or use Sandman. I Always Save before I do, just in case! In any case my Settlements start moving towards unhappy for a time. If they are already unhappy, it takes a longer time to begin upwards again. Any ideas??? EDIT: I dismiss my followers OR grab Dogmeat before terminating a Spy... he don't give crap about who I put down!

Try using the console again, this time (making sure that you have the station targeted, you may have to scroll through the list) use unlock 1000... if this does not work, you may have to revert to a previous saved game... I did the same thing, except I accidentally locked the Workstation. I ended up going back to a previous save. Good luck.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to use the console to place a workbench... the command I have is "player.placeatme c1aeb" It does place the workbench like it should, but when I attempt to use it, I get a message that I need to clear enemies from the area... there are no enemies in the area. I have tried "killall" commands and still get the same message... I used 'tgm" and a MIRV for like 10 minutes to see if there was anything that could be remotely called an enemy... nothing. Anyone have any ideas, or suggestions where I might be going wrong?

  11. Ahhh I got you, my idea of Adult mods and others are apparently in different categories. I'm old and PC definitions are NOT in my vocabulary... Thanks for clearing that up. In any case it does not cause me to like Nexus any less, I am content with the material that they do provide!
  12. No, I did not know that he had an update... Everything appeared to work fine at Red Rocket, but I moved all of my Power Armor to Sanctuary and that is where I noticed the problem... I was using his X-01 Power Armor Frames on most of the Problem armors, and still had my Original T-45 Frame from Concord... I never swapped it out... that one was all me (well and Bethesda for their funky cell resets). So far everything appears to be working properly now... (Crossing fingers)
  13. Looking for a Mod that adds and filters more categories... Namely Armor Categories, separating Power Armor, Clothing, and Other Armors in different tabs. A Tab that would be only for Magazines and Bobbleheads, One that would break weapons into Ranged, Melee and Thrown... already have the one by Vald (sorry can't remember the name at the moment... I'm OLD and near senile), and although functional, not just what I am looking for. Oh, a tag that would sort crafted items would be nice =) What I would really like is one that would let me create SUITS of Armor/Clothing that I could swap at a button push.

Cat fight (or as close as you can get) I recruited Cait, Curie and Piper as followers, they are all in Sanctuary (Yah, I know... probably wasn't the best idea) They all have an Affinity of 1100... can you see where this is going? Well, I had Cait as my current follower, Curie approached and I just asked her to accompany me, Cait called her an egghead. To see how far this would go, I asked Cait to come with me... Curie said that I should bring more ammo... Piper shows up... oh yes, I did... I ask Piper to come with me... Cait mentions something about a Threesome and Piper says it's not gonna happen honey... I may kick in FRAPS and go back to that save and see if I can get all to happen again,
  15. Never mind... the problem was with Buildable Power Armor Frames Mod... just installed the latest version and hope that it fixes the resets. Leaving this here just in case there is anyone else having the same trouble.
  16. Okay, here it is in a nutshell... I painted my armor, logged out of the game and this morning, it is all rusted despite the Name, ie Flame or Shark. I did have one set of T-45 revert to exactly the same as when I found it in Concord... which is understandable as I did not rebuild its frame (my bad). I do have and am using Lapdragons mods (Which are awesome... many thanks) So I present my modlist below in the hopes that someone can see something that I am missing. Mods:: EDIT: Upon closer examination, all suits of Power Armor that I had left in Sanctuary had the Painted version AND the Original Spawn armor,,, in some cases pieces were installed that were not painted, mixed with pieces that were. Three of these frames were Lapdragon Rebuilds...
  17. I have the same problem at times. A couple of the authors told me that their mods were not explicitly compatible with CBBE. When I try to do conversions, their Suits or Armor do not appear in any of the CBBE or Body Slide lists. Even some that say they are CBBE don't show up in my lists.
  18. I actually gave up for now... I went back to a very old save, from another play through, right after I had completed that particular quest. Reinstalling the game is very costly for me, as I do not have DSL...I have a 30gb limit on my MiFi device and 10gb on my HughesNet system, both of which I use for work. If I still had 19 gigs left at the end of my cycle, I might just do that reinstall. Good luck to you as well.
  19. Since I started this thread, I have completely uninstalled all of my mods, started all over from the beginning... he is Still getting stuck at the first house... If I recall, I think he was supposed to kill some Rad Roaches in there and they have not spawned... I am at a loss. EDIT: Spawning some Rad Roaches did not work either... I tried to Console finish the quest but apparently I am doing it wrong.... Arrgh!

Yes, I had stopped just before I got the "Discovered Sanctuary" I was debating on installing a Beautiful Sanctuary MOD for this play through, but decided against it as I had massive pathing problems the last time I installed it. I did load that save, then approached Codsworth and reinitiated dialog. I have done this 3 times... the last two times I shut down completely and tried again. Now, I am here :laugh:
  21. On the very first quest, Codsworth begins his search of the Neighborhood and just keeps going from room to room in the first house... Not sure if I have a mod causing the problem or if he is just in some sort of loop,,, really annoying... Mods
  22. FYI I use Settlement Aid Program http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7342/? in the simplest mode, Craft the glasses and wear them... all Synth Spies have an eerie Purple Glow... Provisioners and Unassigned Settlers Glow Blue. (Don't kill them!!!) Oh and don't just kill the Synth Spies either, your Settlers AND Followers will turn on you or their Affinity will drop. Dismiss followers, save game, use a Silenced Gauss Rifle, Stealth and kill them at range. Go collect loot... if you find a Synth Component there, then you got it right.
  23. I got a full set from that Sea Can he was referring to, all Mark III, was level 48 at the time and another set on top of one of the Quest Buildings... sorry can't remember which one though,
  24. You need to go through the stages with all potential followers... irc 250, 500, 1000 and max is 1100 on affinity. At each milestone, they will Want to talk about something, complete the dialog and proceed to 1000 then hit Romance to get them to sleep with your PC. Cait, and Piper are pretty easy... Curie is MUCH harder... getting her a Synth body is pretty time consuming... (I recommend Super Affinity Mod for that one) I have all 3 now... I'm really partial to Curie (Loving Curie Mod) (I also have the Loving Piper Mod ... not sure if there is one for Cait yet,) As for the random settlers, I think, but am not sure that your Charisma is a factor... I have recruited at least 8 to my settlements... I even recruited the female NPC from the Radio station, thought that was kind of evil :devil:
  25. Gawd, that place sux... I would love to GECK that one place out of the game... so worthless as a settlement
