Oh, for power armour, just remove the flippin' power core. Although NPCs don't need a power core, and CAN be directed to enter even a PA without a core, the AI doesn't do it autonomously. AFAIK. What he said! I pull all of my cores from my armor when I get out... nothing will piss you off more than a raider stealing your cherry X-01 Armor when you get out to do a Stealth hunt :sick:

There are literally synth spies. They infiltrate your settlements and then attack. There was a thread about this not long ago, probably only a couple pages back. There are a few mods that help you identify them. Yep... and did you know that

Spring Cleaning in pretty good, then there is Scrap Everything (It does just that... it's real easy to scrap things that you might not want to,,, ie, walls, foundations, roofs) I changed to Spring Cleaning myself. If you are patient, observant and save quite often, then Scrap Everything is for you. I'm anything but patient :ohmy:

Since I did not scrap the road, that should not have interfered with the mesh, should it? The only place I have had any problems before this were Snap-n-Build bunkers. All of my Alternate Settlement (and other mods) have no problems with having companions navigating, even following me up 7 flights of stairs. It all seems to start with my repair of the Sanctuary Bridge... wish that I had made a save before I did that...

I did a wipe of Sanctuary, via Console "Scrapall", then used Repairable Sanctuary to Repair 3 of the houses and bridge that the scrapall command left. Now, after spending several hours creating a NEW Sanctuary, I find that my Companions and all other NPCs avoid the bridge area completely. Where the houses near the bridge were and the road between them, they just will not go anymore. Companions, when ordered, state that they cannot get there... I know that this is a pathing issue and tried using sidewalk and pavers to bypass the problem with no affect.

Much appreciated... it worked, and the next time I fast traveled in, there the Brahmin was again... I think I cured it this time tho... I used consoie "scrapall' and started over. I forgot to move all my power armor, but no big deal I had other suits at Red Rocket that are much nicer. I had the Reparable Settlements mod installed and was able to recover 3 houses =) and I was even able to finally repair that bridge. So all in all this was a blessing in disguise for me. Thanks again for the help!

Ok... will do... it is the main house with the workbench.. they are next to the road at the end that is nearest the river... in the screenshot you can see it pretty clear. Oh, the Pack brahmin appears to belong to Trashcan Carla if that is important...

Not sure what I did, but somehow I have Piper and a Brahmin on top of my settlement house in Sanctuary. No matter what I do (within my skillset) I can't get them off. Reloads waiting and moving to a different settlement aren't working. I can't get the image to work (need some pointers here as well! I'm wanting to do some video capture while playing, I have used FRAPS in the past and can't seem to find any other program close to it. Is FRAPS still the defacto Capture Software for gaming? I am hesitant to reinstall it as there have been no updates to the program in over 3 years.

I have had this happen after raids... I ended up going to each of them and letting them have their little thank you speech. After that they seem to go back to normal.

I'm pretty sure that it can be done and implemented... eventually... as for the materials, wood is pretty much outdated. As an avid Crossbow User/Hunter, I use a Non-Compound 175lb Draw Composite and Carbon Fiber Crossbow. I use 20" Carbon Fiber bolts with 125 grain broad heads. So the materials are already in game. Now for immersion sake, the re-fire rate on a Crossbow like mine would be simply unrealistic. Re-cocking, loading, reacquiring the target, aiming and firing again takes me at least 11 seconds, and I'm experienced (And Stout!) Now a bow on the other hand, could be much faster 2-3 second range. I really can't speak to bows as much. I use a crossbow because I have little use of my left hand and just can't hold a normal bow properly.

Is there a way to go back with re-downloading the game? There's no need to re-download the game. I believe all you have to do is right click Fallout 4 in your Steam library then go to Properties > Beta and select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs." That should remove the update and revert you back to Update 1.2. Sweet! Much appreciated! I really dislike steam... but in this case, I won't complain...

Which version of Fallout 4 should I be running? I currently have the Beta, but have been having some mod conflicts that I can't seem to iron out. Also have recently started having a loading delay. It can sometimes take upwards of 2 minutes to do a fast travel from one settlement to another.

Have that mod as well... as a matter of fact, I just installed it Friday evening... and today, all of my Armor is back to 45.

I have the Buildable PA Frames mod and Settlement Container No Reset mod, yet today all of my Power Armor Sets are now back to 45.. I had just looted 2 full sets of X-01 and had upgraded them to Level VI. And before you ask, Yes, I did scrap all of my original PA Frames and rebuilt them. As a side note... My Fusion Cores are also replaced.. I remove them when I and/or my followers exit the armor to prevent invaders from commandeering it. I really need to stop that as well!

The mods that are out now are from (mostly) very experienced people... I seriously doubt you will have any problems. I've been around a long time and many of the mod authors have as well. I trust their work.

If you searched, then you know Beth stated it will be released early this year. We could all use it :smile: I did not even see that reference on their site... almost every possible search pushed me to the Fallout 3 version
