  1. Sounds interesting. I'm not sure about the tranquility part though. It separates the mage from magic and in so doing takes their emotions. If you don't have magic to remove, not sure how you'd get around that. And sending him to Lothering isn't going to work because it's completely destroyed. But those are easy problems to fix. I personally, would like to have an imprisonment option. That way, as a hero figure to many, he would be rescued by devout followers and perhaps become a problem quest in Awakening later on. Death is so final. And giving someone with his pension for evil all the powers of a Warden and the freedom to wander at will seems a terrible choice. I always kill him. But saving him (not as a Warden) to wreak havoc later would be cool.
  2. Can't tell you how many times I've started a new character in DAO because I didn't like how they looked in-game. I would be happy if my character looked more like the character I created before entering the game. Somehow, the colors I chose for my characters always looks different in-game. To be able to adjust my character in game would be nice. Maybe a little magic mirror in Haven?
  3. Have you tried the AIS Emporium mod by David Kaye on Nexus? Not sure if it would do what you want but the posts seems positive?
  4. That would be wonderful. The romance with Teagan I mean. He's so cute when you flirt with him in Redcliffe. It's such a shame to have that go nowhere! And when I say this, I mean romance, not a mod that has you meet him in an Inn for one night. There's already a mod for that. Since he doesn't join your party, it would take traveling back to Redcliffe or Rainesfere to meet him now and then along the adventure trail.
  5. There is a mod on Nexus called "Desire Demon Covered" that might work for you? http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/2008/? Or you can look under Categories/Models and Textures to find it.
  6. Thanks for responding. I guess I'll have to do a one-by-one on this to figure it out. I do have Witch Hunt, but unless I inadvertently copied a file over something in there, I don't know if that could be it. I downloaded a mod that got rid of Fergus telling his son he'll "see a sword up close real soon." Now I'm regretting it. I wanted to remove it and can't find it. I usually name all my mods as I put them in so I can find them again if I want to disable or remove them. I think this mod-change is embedded in something else so I can't recognize it. Now I'm stuck with it. I'll have to disable everything and start over. Not looking forward to that!!
  7. The game says I'm missing a file called "The Looking Glass." It must be embedded because I don't recall downloading anything with that name. Does anyone have a clue what mod it is part of?
  8. Could someone make a mod where my character can have a fling with Ser Gilmore at Cousland Castle and just skip the fling with Dairren altogether? I know you don't have to meet Dairren, but I have all mods that bring Ser Gilmore back into the game and would like to have had a little more going with him at the Castle than just a good bye kiss.
  9. There is a mod to return to Castle Cousland but it hasn't been up dated since 2011. Maybe someone could clean it up so it works again? I played it years ago and it's really great. You get to kick Howe's butt! http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1307/? Castle_Cousland look under Dungeon Categories.
  10. I would like to see a mod that lets you run into Daveth in the fade. It would be nice to have him say that everything was worth the sacrifice or something? He really got short changed as far as characters go and I thought he was very interesting.
  11. Try using the Nexus Mod Manager instead. You can drop .dazip, .rar, .7z, and .zip and the manager knows where it goes. Takes the sting out of adding mods. Be careful you check to see if there are choices that need to be made though. Sometimes, the zipped files have more than one thing that needs to be selected, you can't have everything. Example? There's a skin mod where you choose between smooth skin, freckled skin, etc. You can only choose one. The creator says so in their description. Other than that and .exe files that force you to choose between Lore, aesthetic, beauty selections, pretty much everything can drop on the Nexus Mod Manager. I don't even use the DAU modder or the DA modder anymore. If the NMM refuses to load the file, you can always drop it in your core/override folder. I was having trouble using the NMM after I upgraded to Win10. But I re-downloaded it today when I saw a reference to WIN10 on the file. Now the NMM works great!
  12. You cannot hold the torch when fighting. So, the mouse left click equips your weapon and drops the torch. Then hit the disengage button to move normally again.
  13. Could you add eyebrows to that list? What's with some of the CC eyebrows we have to choose from. Can't male and female have a separate set to choose from? Some of those eyebrows should come with a lawnmower!
  14. Thanks. I had tried that and it didn't work. I moved the wheel, left mouse, right mouse and nothing. I guess I thought it wasn't an option. But my game was running really slow and choppy and I was having an awful time keeping it from crashing. Which is one of the reasons I've been on the Forums more than usual lately. Based on suggestions I've found here, I've done a bunch of tweaks on my pc and now it works great..settings up a lot higher too. So I just found out about the rmb and the zoom with the wheel yesterday.....so cool! Lovin' this game!! :woot:
  15. Is there anyway someone can fix it so I can rotate my character during creation? I like to see what the noses, chins, mouths (etc.,) look like from the side and front, also the hair from behind. But I can't really rotate the head without choosing another feature to alter and hoping I get a side shot. Looking at the back of the head is not possible. So when I enter the game and see how crappy the face & hair looks I'm disappointed. I've actually deleted a few characters and started over based on how bad they looked in-game from how good I thought they looked in creation mode.
  16. I don't use that card, I have the AMD Radeon R7 200 Series, but I had stuttering and crashing with my game (graphic settings at medium). I updated the driver for my monitor. Got to admit, updating the monitor never really crossed my mind before, but it was suggested by someone, so I tried it. I also downloaded FLASHPLAYER. Stuttering and crashes stopped (graphics on Ultra). Coincidence? Maybe. But certainly worth a try?
  17. Maybe you should have someone just download a completed game so you don't have to go through all this trouble? I'd rather play through and earn my place in the game than have everything handed to me. There is a 'casual' mode you know, for those who just like the cinematic aspect and don't really want to play very hard?
  18. This game just released for crying out loud. It's always best if you play through to see the real deal before you start modding the heck out of it! You never know, what you ask for in a mod may already be in-game you just haven't stumbled over it yet? I'm a mod lover, and cannot wait for all the great things people will come up with, but meanwhile, I'm enjoying just playing this game as is!!
  19. This would be a bug, not a mod. What you are experiencing is not a normal part of the game. Have you tried updating the drivers for your video card and monitor? Lots of people forget to update the drivers for their monitor. I was one. Had lots of difficulties, stuttery music, random crashes, slow loads, and my graphics settings were on medium which was disappointing as I just bought a new computer for Christmas and it was really powerful (according to the manufacturer). I even contacted the computer manufacturer thinking I had been shipped a lemon. Their techs couldn't come up with any ideas and I was about to get my money back on this thing when I decided to check all my drivers. This is a new computer, I didn't think I would have to do that? As it turned out, I needed (and installed) new drivers for my monitor, my mouse, my keyboard which fixed the slow and jerky response times. I also downloaded FLASHPLAYER and that really upped my graphics as well as rid me of the stuttery music which was a total surprise. Now I have my graphics set to Ultra and love it! I still have shadows and ambient lighting at High though (not Ultra) and water and flora is set to medium. I'm bumping up each category one at a time to make sure everything stays this wonderful. I started a new game and had no idea how glittery lyrium was until I set my graphics details to Ultra. It absolutely sparkles! I couldn't see any scars in character creation before and now I can. And where did all this fog in the mountain pass quest come from? That wasn't there before. It's like a whole new game! Don't know if anything I did will help you, could all be a lucky coincidence, but it's worth a try?
  20. Agreed. Got my vote. Really miss that feature!
  21. Uninstall Origin and reinstall it. Maybe a file got corrupted or obsolete and you need a current download?
  22. If you think that's the mod that did this, delete it. You should be ok. If not, I'd delete the game and redownload it pristine without putting that mod back in the game.
  23. Does Bioware intend to upgrade the game to include any of the mod suggestions listed in this forum? Some of these suggestions sound like major changes that only Bioware could do? But I know one thing I miss most about Inquisition versus the other Dragon Age games is the opportunity to switch from ranged to melee weapons during battle. Not sure a mod could handle that but would be really nice to have that feature back. And what's the point of giving us all those regen and resist potions if we cannot change to the ones we need based on the battle we are in or at least set up a tactic to do it in a pinch? I'm not in the habit of running into a zone, targeting all the creatures to see what they are vulnerable to, running out of range, shifting my tonics and bombs/grenades to adjust and jumping back into battle. If I can't change the tonics as needed, then make them throwing tonics that shatter in order to protect my entire party? That way each party member could carry a different potion based on the target. If cold resistance is needed, toss that tonic, if fire resistance is needed, toss that tonic, etc. Right now I have to spoon feed those to each character. If anyone knows how to adjust that to a more automatic way, please share? Also, the tactics choices are so limited. What happened to situational choices, like for magic use ranged weapons or switch back to melee when needed, or attack mages first. I know the tactics window is supposed to let you make those choices, but it disconnects the player from the action. Preset situations/reactions lets the game flow without the interruptions. Not sure why Bioware abandoned those features, they were really great!
  24. There are ways of improving prices by purchasing favors and using inquisition points. Have you tried that already?
  25. I disagree. I think Cullen is wonderful. Although, if I had my choice, I'd rip that bearhide collar right off him. And I mean that in a fashion-sense way, or maybe, no-fashion-sense way in this case?
