Hi sworddragon, well, i wouldn't call it a "good" deal, i think it is a normal price for a retail all in one pc. Are the 850$ only for the desktop or is there a TFT, mouse, keyboard etc. included? I would think the tower is around 700 - 750$. Sarah

Hi all, the last time i cleaned up my computer of unnecessary programs, i had installed over time, i realized a nice boot speedup. It was my own laziness to keep all the stuff on it i don't need :rolleyes: . I try to avoid a new installation, it needs ages if you have set up all the things you got used to. A Windows pc is like a child, it needs attention and if you don't care about that it starts complaining ;), well, and having a coffee while it boots helps a lot :biggrin: That's why i'm still using my raptor and not a ssd, i have to reinstall all o_O

Hi Slaytounge, if you want to upgrade for Skyrim i would wait for the release of the game. For Fallout your computer is okay with a ram upgrade. Your Ram is DDR 667 and with 3 GB you don't have dual channel support. Upgrade it to 2 x 2 GB DDR 800 or faster (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134582). This would cost you around 50$. Your graphics card is good enough for games like Fallout and the gfx card is the most important thing for games. Your mainboard is ASUS, but without having the specs i can't suggest a cpu. I think if it runs a E6850 it can also handle the Q9xxx series. A Quadcore suggestion would be a Q9550, but mind this one isn't cheap and it makes no sense to upgrade the cpu if you want to upgrade your whole computer. Sarah

Hi, i wont use a loptop for gaming. Of course there are lots of them available, but mind, you can't upgrade it easily. The other disadvantage is the trouble with the heat, some of my friend who have a laptop for gaming with high end cpu and gpu had a overheated gpu after two or three years. Another thing is the price, for a gaming laptop you have to spend around 1000 €, for a desktop with the same stats you have to pay 500 to 600 €. Sarah

Hi Jim, sounds good :), the dual core smartphones are fantastic. The battery of my P990 lasts for 1,5 day now, i needed to train it. Have loaded it to 100% and used it to 0% for around 10 times, now it is okay. A friend said his is working up to 4 days if he turns of umts, gps, sync and gps. But i wont do that, these are the features why i have it ;) Sarah

Hi DemocraticAlliance15, the short answer is take the 1st one. But, to be honest there are some points you should think about. The Core i3 is a dual core cpu, especially made for business and low end computers. I would prefer a i5, they aren't more expansive i think. If you want to change the graphic card, why you don't save the money for the build in and buy a computer with the one you want? If you want to play Fallout in ultra high with mods you should take a radeon hd6850. Btw, you don't need to upgrade from 4 to 6GB of Ram, save the money. My suggestion for a "cheap" computer like the ones from Medion would be: Core i5 cpu, 1TB HDD, Radeon HD6850, 4GB Ram Maybe you can have a look in a computer retail store. hope it helps, Sarah Btw, Medion is a big german computer company, in the US it is called Tevion. Hi, i think using a non steam crack for NV on a legal version is illegal too. With this crack you change the game in a way which is forbidden by the legal rights, i think. Sarah

The battery is sh*t, if you use the phone "regularly" during the day, it is empty after 14h - 15h. At the moment battery monitor is telling me the phone will last 1d1h. If you use it for gps navigation in your car, it is empty after 5h. I don't know how long the battery lasts in other smartphones with dual core cpu, but i think there won't be a big difference.

Hi Guys, in my experience you don't need 500MB data volume for your smartphone. The last month i spend 300MB, but i got a new one and had to download/install lots of apps. I use it for GPS navigation, too. That was around 60MB for the maps (i use the google navigation tool). Btw, if you can have a dual core smartphone take it. I'm using the LG P990 (Optimus Speed), it has the NVidia Tegra 2 chip and it is very fast. Sarah

Hi, with using a crack you will break the eula because you are modifying the game in a not allowed way. I'm not sure if you can play NV without a internet connection. Maybe you can try to have a connection for the first time, so your game is verified. Maybe you can play offline after that, but i'm not sure with that.

hmmm, but i will wait, maybe steam is doing something important :confused: (But it is downloading somthing for NV..., i'm sure...) :unsure: Edit: i think i know what steam has done, it has updated my UK version to German..., i can't understand that, because i have bought the UK one, not the German version. Why steam is doing that? I don't want the German version, i bought it in the UK to play the uncut English version of FNV. I hate the translation to German language..., it is crap. Does someone has an idea how i could prevent this, or undo this? At the moment my idea is to uninstal it and reinstall my original UK one from DVD.

Hi all, does someone know something about a NV update? My NV is updating at the moment, 11% @ 300MB :wacko: , it needs ages... Do i have i missed something, thought there are all updates installed (still playing Death Money)?

Another way for keeping your weapons is to give them to some "none NV companions" like Eve or Jade. It is a little cheat but so you can have them inside the casinos to protect yourself.

Got the nvse error too. I think there was a update for NV and nvse isn't updated for this version. There will be a new or updated version of nvse which will support the current version of NV. I think the NV update was because of the release of Dead Money :unsure: There is a new version of NVSE available: http://nvse.silverlock.org/ that should fix your problems.

Hi, it depends how you want to play the game ;) In the first stages of the game it is nice to have them as an energy weapons dealer. If you first enter the store do what they say, that means stop and wait until they have finished with the guy. After that you are allowed to enter and you can talk to Gloria. Because we are in spoiler area i can tell you, you will have to think about your behaviour towards the van Graffs during the Rose of Sharron Cassidy quests. Paxan
