  1. Codec's used by Fraps: All the numbers are for videos recorded in 1280 x 1024. Audio: PCM Audio, 192000Hz 6144 kb/s tot (2 chnls) Video: FPS1 (Fraps Codec), ~220000kbps to 230000kbps (25MByte to 30MByte per second) because of this videos recorded with Fraps are very big and limited in size. Fraps will start a new file after ~ 2,20 min to 2,30 min (3.90GB). So if you want to record a video for 5 minutes Fraps will create two or three files.
  2. I would prefer this... http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=297&cl_index=1&sc_index=38&ss_index=95&g=q
  3. Hi, there are some AGP Cards. The "best" NVidia i've found is the GeForce 7950 GT 550M, 512MB GDDR3 (http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a474248.html) For ATI you can find the Radeon HD 4670 (http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a534286.html) The links are german (sorry have no english search engine bookmarked  ). 4. Hi lgs7, i think the PSU could be a problem. You can calculate it here: http://www.be-quiet.net/be-quiet.net/?StoryID=1&websiteLang=en go to the PSU Calculator tab on top of the page and have a check with your built in components.
  5. I think it is because of the medieval (european) character of the game. The first time i noticed that is the beginning of the human noble female origin story. All men are going to fight and Daddy Cousland is asking his daughter to stay at home. The next is the story to become a gray warden. There aren't much female ones i guess :ermm:
  6. Hi Vagrant, for this i'm using the Windows Live Movie Maker. You can cut the video and add pictures, animations and effects. It is a little easy editing tool and it is free. have fun, Paxan
  7. Guten Abend auch dir Balagor.
  8. This is a question you can't answer in a general way. I'm German so i have my personal point of view and i think these health care program is a very good thing. Btw, i think in a social country (not socialist!) all people have the right for a human an liveable life and it should be a kind of responsibility of the "rich" people to support the "poor". Don't get this wrong, i'm a wealthy girl and i don't need to take much care of money, but it is okay for me if i have to pay more tax in percent than a worker with a yearly income of 20000€ or less. We are living together in one country and in one world. Like Bob Ritter in Clear and Present Danger said: Gray! The world is gray, Jack!
  9. I've finished my school and university education too, and now i'm thinking both are important. To be honest i haven't need one of them for my studies (only math, math, math and math  ) But it is important to know the history of the world, so we can prevent the mistakes by learning of our history. Biology is important too because you need it to understand how life is working. I've voted for history because in class 11/12 i had kicked biology.
  10. Hi Ell, i was thinking about this option same time ago, too. The 22" TV like the Samsung Syncmaster Lapfit LD220HD is the same panel like the "normal" monitors. The advantage of it is the stand alone TV option. So if you don't want to have two displays in your room you can buy a "TV". I haven't done it that way. After a little search i decided for a 23" IPS Panel monitor (1080p) and for TV i bought a 32" (1080p). Both are connected with my PC. So i'm using the 23" for working and gaming and if i want to watch a video i can have it on the 32". Paxan
  11. I'm using a manual fan controller for that. I don't think it is a "real" problem, because if the sensor i patched to the heatspreader is around the temperature of the "cold" cores the cpu is okay. It is working fine and i haven't had any problems. Just thought i ask here if someone had seen such a strange failure.
  12. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this. Do you mean replying to multiple people in the same thread? You can use the multiquote function to accomplish that; don't forget that double posts are heavily looked down upon in these boards. Also, the 60 second wait is probably a form of flood detection. When in doubt, obey the prompt. Hmm, sorry if i wasn't understandable. I answered to a post by using the reply button, no mutliquote. So i pressed reply and after writing add reply. The second reply was on a different thread without using multiquote, only pressed the reply button. If it should work that way it is okay, i was a little worried if my browser is doing strange things...
  13. @ Vindekarr: A Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, nice car. And a good one for a little tour with a girl  Well depends on the girl, i would like it  , own a Turbo myself.
  14. Hi, it is the 3rd time i have this Error after trying to post a second post in a different topic. It is this one: [#103128] The administrator has limited the number of new posts you can submit within a short time frame. Please wait 60 seconds before replying or posting a new topic. I got this message after i use the replay button to post for the first and also for the second one. Ohh, and i'm not that fast in writing and clicking around here  Should it work that way or is my browser doing strange things if i post, so the forum thinks it was more than one?
  15. I had the idea with the misreading software, too. But after a clean install of my new Windows 7 it was the same like with Windows XP. The temperatures are the same in each program which can read and display them. I used Everest, CoreTemp and the Asus Software.
  16. Hehe, thats why she is a carnivore, no omnivore. Plant cannibalism.... hmmm, a fight on my windowsill
  17. My plant is a carnivore, too. But i think if i give her beacon she will die  And so, no beacon for me
  18. Hi, i have a little question about the temperature sensors of the cores in a cpu. I think the sensor of my core 1 & 2 are damaged. They always show 70°C in idle and 75°C in load. Core 3 & 4 is okay, 45°C in idle and around 60°C in load. The CPU sensor on the mainboard has 30°C. The Cooler is okay, i've checked it out 2 times. To control the temperature i have placed one of the internal sensor cables direct on the heat-spreader. This one has 49°C. Btw, the CPU is an Q9450 overclocked to 3.4 GHz. Maybe someone of you have seen such a behaviour before? Paxan
  19. But i don't want to have beacon on my burger .... I prefer it with salad and tomato
  20. Cheese of course  You can eat it with olives, i could die for them :woot: Beacon.... hmmm... this things you get in the morning with beans and sausage.... The only thing i wanted was a role and jam  and cheese
  21. An outtake fan is essential and should be the first you try to change / install if you have heat problems. Intake isn't really needed because the air will find its way inside. If you have some holes near your graphic card the air stream will cool it, maybe it is enough for yours so you don't need to mcgyver to much  Only as an example, i have no intake fan, only the normal hole for a fan in the front. My 4870 has one 120mm @ 1000rpm and there is another 120mm @ 1000 rpm for the cpu. The circulation is done by the PSU fan and an optional 120mm which is mounted on the back. This one will only work if the temperature is over a defined point. So it is very silent like a computer should be
  22. That sound very innovative, like McGyver would do it. But wait, he would use a chewing gum to fit it  Okay, to be serious, this is only a thing you want to use a short time, right? If you want to have a permanent solution i would try to go another way. If you want to have your Computer very silent (like me) i would suggest to use a fan controller to speed up/down your already fitted ones. I would buy a new silent fan (like Noctua) which can have a rotation up to 1300rpm (120mm). With a fan controller you can turn them down to 800rpm or off. If you wont by an extra controller you can also use your mainboard connectors and speedfan. Btw, witch temperatures are to high in your computer?
  23. Have done a little video to show how Alistair is acting. The settings are that he is attacking that enemy who is attacking the main character. Same for my brave Mabari.
  24. Hi Again, i have a question of Windows Movie Maker. I have a Fraps video of Dragon Age converted to Avi h264. Now i wanted to cut it a little bit, like deleting seconds in pause mode. If i want to save the video after that i can only use WMV. Okay, that' fine if MM would use WMV v9 with a nice bitrate for a good quality. It doesn't do it and so the quality in 720p is really bad  Is there a possibility to change the settings? I would prefer a bitrate of 2500kBit/s for 720p. Here is the video: Paxan
