  1. I might do what I did in my first playthrough + Broken Steel, crush the Enclave with the Brotherhood of Steel's help, then use the satellite nukes to destroy the Citadel. Followed up by hunting down the last remaining BoS and Enclave.
  2. The post thing is in place because they have to pay for the bandwidth, and they don't have the resources that the Nexus staff have availible. They want the people that download there to contribute to the community aswell, and not just leech downloads.
  3. :sigh: This is what you need: In order to properly work Fallout 3 / Oblivion without needing to move the games from the default install location whilst using Vista, do the following as Administrator: 1. Right Click your Fallout 3 / Oblivion folder 2. Click Properties 3. Click Security 4. Click Edit 5. Click your Username in the list. 6. Check Full control. 7. Click OK. Note: This does not compromise your computer security and will stop FO3 putting screenshots and saved mods into VirtualStore. Your mods that you have currently saved are in: C:\Users\"Your username"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data Just type AppData in the Start Search and navigate from there (AppData is a hidden folder) or click Organize > View > Show Hidden Files and Folders.

  5. Thanks for the clue. Sadly that doesn't solve my problem. I used FOMM to make my master file... (open with Plugin Editor and then save as master file) Does it work for you ortuzero? Just saving as an esm won't actually make the file a proper master, you need to open the file via FOMM's plugin editor, expand it and double click on TES4, then check the box that has (Esm file) at the end, and then hit save. That will solve your skin body problems. (bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 is for head problems).
  6. 1. Find the mod you wish to download on: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/ or http://www.tesnexus.com/ (use the search or look through "Browse Categories". 2a. On the file page of the mod you wish to download (example: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10380 ) click Files then click the file you want's name. This will open a new window and shortly after a bar should appear from above which you click and have the download go to your desktop. 2b. Certain files will not give you this bar immediately though like for example the one from here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10365 First you will need to click one of the normal servers which will then give you the bar (if it doesn't there may be an error or that server is undergoing maintence or something - thus you'll have to try later). 3. Once you have the file downloaded you'll need to extract the contents using an application like 7zip ( http://www.7-zip.org/ ). 4. When that is done you will need to follow the instructions on how to install a mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=90
  7. Certain modifications can interfer with Broken Steel's activating at the end of the game. Post up a list of the mods you are using and we'll see if any of the known problem causers are on that list.
  8. Everytime I click Members all I get is the error: "Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available." I used to be able to access there to search for particular members...
  9. The former was the original idea, the latter seems to be the direction he was going later on in development.
  10. There are three groups running around the Downtown DC ruins and it's implied they are all looking for the same thing. 1. The Super Mutants. 2. The Talon Company. 3. The guy who hired Reily's Rangers to map the ruins. I'm pretty sure it's a plot point Bethesda put in there for future use but never got around to.
  11. Outfit: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5667 Body stuff: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4280 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5355
  12. It'll be one (or more) of your mods being mishandled by Fallout 3. You'll need to turn off your mods in groups (of say 5) and check if you can save. If you can you can turn those five on one by one until the problem appears again (thus showing you which mod is being mishandled). If not you turn off another 5 and repeat the process until you find the issue mod. It's usually possible to re-enable the mod that was being mishandled at a later date without issue (unless the circumstances that caused Fallout 3 to mishandle it happen again).
  13. If we go by the world view you see in Mothership Zeta (ie when your on the ship looking at Earth), I think it's safe to say everywhere was messed up.
  14. There is two good reasons to blow up the Citadel. 1. If you don't want any faction having enough power to dominate the Wasteland except of course for your character (with the Enclave out of commission the balance of power is in the favour of the BoS). And 2. So you can take shots like this. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/963764-1248663415.jpg
  15. I couldn't eat vulture, I'd keep thinking what if it's just come back from eating some guy's corpse out there in the desert...
  16. You did move Zeta's DLC files to your Data folder didn't you? I totally knew that... :ninja: No I didn't, I got the Zeta files from appdata and it works flawlessly. But why didn't I need to do that for the other DLC's? :thanks: It's possible FOMM has a DLC moving function or something that hasn't been updated for Zeta.... I dunno. I just know that if you want to use a DLC based mod you need to have the DLCs in your Data folder.
  17. Possibly it's related to the UPP mods... sorry I have no idea in this instance.
  18. There are birds, they just never come down to the ground. They are always flying around in the sky, you can't even shoot them down.
  19. You did move Zeta's DLC files to your Data folder didn't you?
  20. No there is no site offering it for download legally. Also downloading or discussing the use of pirated material is considered a reason for banning on the nexus.
  21. I use the male topless one from this mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=982 The body is the same as vanilla except shirtless. The boxers remain. I had to write installation instructions for it though as the author named his files wrong and didn't indicate the correct installation. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...=80#entry926604 Example: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/963764-1237171354.jpg
  22. "Two cannibals are eating a clown, and one turns to the other and asks, "does this taste funny to you?""
  23. He means the crashed alien spaceship that is in the vanilla game that inspired the Mothership Zeta DLC. Recon craft Theta.
