  1. Building your own PC is the best value choice usually, but it's not a great time to buy PC parts right now due to the shortages. There is no definitive "best" when it comes to PC though, as best is entirely dependent on what you are doing specifically with that PC. Someone that plays E-Sports title for instance doesn't need too powerful of a PC, but someone that wants to play Red Dead Redemption 2 as high settings will need a stronger PC. The same goes for non gaming stuff, so if you use video editing software or do 3D rendering in blender or something, then your PC will need to suit that task. If you'd like to know a good company to buy a PC from, then I would suggest NZXT BLD as their PC's are not too badly priced and they make stuff with off the shelf parts. They have some questions they ask you on their site to help you decide how much you should spend. Hope that helps. I'm happy to answer more questions if you have any.
  2. Once you have all of the DLC's, this is the one you'll need: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104587?tab=files&file_id=1000335463 That's the only primary file. The optional files are patches that make it work better with additional mods, but you only need to worry about those if you are also using those mods.
  3. There is also a chance that the DELL board and BIOS are interfering with your GPU and it's drivers. Some of these prebuilts are pretty locked down, which makes upgrading them challenging.
  4. Glad I could help, even if it's just a little bit. Keep me updated, I'd love to know if you get it figured out.
  5. No promises as I am fairly busy with school, but if I can get the time I'll try and see if i can get it to work.
  6. I checked the mod page just now, and according to the requirements section, which is on the mod page, it says that it requires Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire. Looks like you'll need to wait for DLC's to go on sale.
  7. That heavy armor from Authentic Legion is included in New Legion. Instead of replacing the heavy Imperial Armor though it's a standalone piece of old armor you can find near Helgen. It's not going to be quite as easy as dragging the files over either. Your best best is to rename the heavy armor files you want from Authentic Legion to match the heavy armor in New Legion and replace those files (or back them up) and have the Authentic Legion mesh and textures go in their place. I'm fairly certain that will work as I've done something similar myself. Hopefully these instructions make sense.
  8. Everything in the pictures is in the mod.
  9. I would suggest watching the videos in this playlist. It's a good starting point, though there are a lot of other tutorials out there as well. The YouTube channel by the name "TheGamerPoets" is also excellent. Link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DfYgxma5znKGYEqAHDU_WU-
  10. I'll double post just make sure you see this. I think I found out your problem. The documents file path show you have Skyrim Legendary Edition installed. SKSE64 is for Special Edition, that is why the versions don't line up.
  11. Is your game and SKSE updated to the latest versions? That's my best guess at this time.
  12. The Collector weapons are exclusive to multiplayer in the base game.
  13. I'd pick the SSD. The 1050 Ti isn't going to be much an improvement, the SSD will speed up the entire system though. GPU's are also in a bad place price wise, so it's better to wait. SSD's may be headed in the same direction due to developments made in a new Crypto, so probably best to buy now before they get even more expensive.
  14. To add to what HeyYou points out, Apple can get away with using ARM due to it's fairly closed off ecosystem. While it is somewhat compatible with non-Apple applications, their machines are designed to work with each other and use Apple made software. So much like consoles, everything is very carefully designed and optimized for very specific hardware.
  15. Is her family even in the game? Would be an interesting mod for sure.
  16. Yes, I can see it now. I would suggest running LOOT, as I suspect that the load order is wrong. M48A5 also has some really good advice that you should really look into.
  17. Your screenshot didn't attach correctly, so I can't see what the issue is.
  18. The Apple M1 is only going to be used by Apple products, which are not made with gaming in mind. Then comes the recompiling thing, which isn't likely to happen. Linux has been around for ages, and it's still barely supported. It would be nice to have more competition, but it really doesn't seem likely (or even all that logical).
  19. From what I can tell, it's something to do with JK's Skyrim, Relighting Skyrim, DynoLOD, and your Smashed Patch. There are a few other mods it mentions as culprits, but the general idea is it's mods to do with Windhelm.
  20. You might want to link the picture.
  21. Yes, and it has a Nexus page (shockingly). Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimnintendoswitch/
  22. If they mod author approves of using their work in other mods, then you can include it (with credit to the mod author). If they don't allow people to use their assets - then you'll need to link people to the mod so they can download it themselves.
  23. This thread on Reddit may be of use to you. Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/6xzthx/a_few_lesser_known_ini_tweaks_120_fps_physics_fix/
  24. That's very peculiar. Perhaps it's your GPU? I read in a Reddit post that someones Nvidia Control Panel settings causes a weird ripple effect, but they didn't say what setting. Is your ENB still enabled? Could also be that causing the visual effect to happen when the spell fills the screen. Spitballing at this point.
