  1. In response to post #55555733. #55556463, #55562434, #55563134, #55566989 are all replies on the same post. I have to say I agree with this myself. So I just keep the old site links favorited in hopes the new site design might be redirected toward a more visual-friendly look with an ease-of-navigation format like the old site now provides.
  2. Sorry, my suggestion didn't work. I will eventually be moving everything to my desktop where I'll be installing on a different HD instead of the c: drive. Maybe then, I'll be able to see how to set up Loot for that without editing any files. :-)
  3. Is it possible you need to disable pop-ups in your browser?
  4. I went to see if I could download NMM and got a pop-up message stating that they are having problems with their download site. The pop-up includes a direct link you can click to download the manager. For your convenience, I am posting it in this reply so you can give it a try. http://nmm.nexusmods.com/Releases/4.5/Nexus%20Mod%20Manager-0.61.23.exe I hope this helps.
  5. On the row for Skyrim under the heading "Install Path", click and type the location of your Skyrim install. For example if you installed Skyrim on your D: drive, then you want to type, D:\Skyrim\ so Loot will know to find it there.
  6. Glad I could help. I get the slow transitions too. Happy gaming.
  7. My Toshiba Laptop is the same way by default, but I was able to go into the bios at startup and change it so the regular F1 keys would be default. I don't know what model of HP Laptop you have, but on startup you may be be able to enter the bios settings by pressing F10 or Escape. Once in the bios, you can then look for a setting that will allow you to decide what pressing the "FN" key will do. Just change it according to what you want. Another option is to look up your documentation and see if HP includes a program you can run to access the bios. I hope this helps.
  8. I just tested both SkyUI and Dual Hand Combo Hotkeys (the mod I linked a above) with my Logitech trackball mouse and both allowed me to map my wheel button(3,) 4, and 5, buttons to slots. So I imagine that both of these mods should map to your mouse keys just fine.
  9. Try this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37006/? I have used this with SkiUI and it has worked fine for me. I haven't played Skyrim in awhile, but if I remember correctly it should do what you need it for. In my experience with my rather weak system, lag plays a small roll in delaying hot key commands. Also, if you have set keybinds to your 10 key pad, you'll want to make sure "Num Lock" is on.
  10. Glad to see you made progress on that. I hope you are able to get them to remove the content you want them to remove. Cheers. :-)
  11. You're not looking for their ISPs. You're looking for a way to contact the the site admins or a way to contact the hosts of these pages. So you want to go to whois.com, click on the link that reads, "whois" and input the names of the sites to find all the information you need to contact someone who may be able to do something about your issue. Edit: This probably could go without saying but search for each site separately, i.e. skyrim.2game.com, print the info then do the same for the other site. I hope this helps.
  12. Update: After experimenting with my security settings and personal preferences without success, I did a search and found an old post from neowin.net that speaks to this issue. The post from neowin.net can be found by doing an Internet search for "Cant paste text into text editor in IE 11". (Edit: Removed the link to neowin.net in favor of providing text for people to do their own search as other links relevant to this issue also appear that may be of some assistance.) It turns out according to neowin.net that this is an issue common with the forum text editor developed by IPB. So I assume while IPB has made many improvements to the editor since 2014, they haven't fixed this issue. So apparently IPB hasn't or perhaps doesn't think it is necessary to make their editor compatible with IE 11. This is likely because MS released Microsoft Edge(with Win 10) which is supposed to replace Internet Explorer meaning IE users will eventually be forced to use ME or switch to Chrome, Firefox, or any other browsers that still allow the use of third party plugins which ME presently does not as I have experienced it. So according to a poster at neowin.net, to enable the ability to paste into the visual editor, go to "Tools" and click on "Compatibility View settings" and click "Add" to let it add nexusmods.com to IE 11's list of sites that require "Compatibility View settings" enabled to work properly. I tested this and it works so that I can now paste into the visual editor. Also for people who have stubbornly chosen to plug on with Microsoft Edge, you can paste into the visual editor by clicking one of the paste options on the editor, but you may need to re-paste into a little box that may pop up to get it to work. The reason I had to paste into a box that popped up first was because ME's security settings wouldn't allow me to paste directly from the clipboard or MS Word. I have Cortana disabled, so that may be why but would like verification on that since I refuse to re-enable Cortana to find out if my suspicion is correct. Final note . . . I think... I personally don't mind having to switch to the plain-text editor to paste into the forum, and since I can paste comments into the visual editor on the mods side of this site, I probably will just continue using the plain-text editor here instead of using "Compatibility View". I hope this helps others who may be experiencing this same issue which I consider to be only a minor irritation that is easily solved with a click or two of a button or switching to different browser that doesn't have this issue. I hope this helps all who find this thread. Happy Gaming.
  13. Sorry, it's the button at the top left of the editor just to the left of the profile picture. It looks like it has an "Oblivion" symbol on it to me. I guess it is the plain text editor button as you described it. Since I was able to paste to the visual editor in Firefox, I figured it had to do with one of my settings in IE. Anyway, It's no longer a problem since I can paste into the plain text editor. I appreciate your reply, and thank you. P.S. Edit: I just finished checking the Bug Tracker, and found no posts related to the one I posted here.
  14. Thank you again. I found out what was wrong. First after testing this issue using Mozilla Firefox and verifying it was Internet Explorer 11, I began testing various settings in the Advanced section of Internet Options with no success. So I came back here and took a closer look at this editor and found that I had to click the button Oblivion symbol on it next to the one used to remove formatting in the upper left corner of this editor. This then allowed me to paste into the editor. So the issue is either one of IE 11's little irritations or a setting I have yet to discover that would allow me to post without clicking the "Oblivion" button. Thanks again for your reply and prompting me to look at other possibilities. Best wishes.
  15. Thank you for replying Thallassa. I can paste into the nexusmods.com comment editors, but not the forum post editor like this one. I logged into my account at blizzard and tested its forum post editor and it worked perfect. So as far as I can tell, this issue is unique to this forum only.
