It was announced from the very start that Wasteland 2 would have turn based combat and people paid almost three million $ for it, so.. The game looks ace, probably the best 50$ I ever spent.

Your texture needs to be in .dds format (DXT1 will suffice), named main_background.dds and 1024x512 pixels in size, other sizes might work but start with the dimensions suggested. Place your texture in the Data folder and use some form of archive invalidation to get your texture to appear in-game. The folder structure should look like this your new vegas install folder\Data\textures\interface\main\
