Having issues with running fnis through vortex

Is your mod staging folder on the same drive as your game?

 

'm assuming C:\ given your path to Steam is C:\

 

the Program Files (x86) is the worst folder to install things in, because Windows overprotects that folder

It's possible that your AV is scanning every single file, every time you Deploy, because it's in Program Files (x86)

 

It's also in appdata C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrim\mods

 

 

 

The mod staging folder, the one in appdata is where the mods are actually installed, then a hardlink is made between the mod staging folder and the game data folder in program files (x86)
