Sidebar completely missing (vortex 1.4.12)

I am using Version 1.4.12
Issue seems unrelated to the game I'm trying to mod as it persists with each game I manage (Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE).
Everything was fine untill I updated to the latest version, after restarting Vortex the whole sidebar is missing (no more settings tab, downloads, extentions, ecc...).
I've already tried restarting Vortex and the PC, reinstalling Vortex, reverting to older version but nothing seems to work
It doesn't give me any error notification either.

Not sure how important my specs could be with this but just in case:
I'm running Windows 10 Home x64 (up to date) with 16gb of RAM, intel i5-9300H cpu, GTX 1650 gpu.
Vortex and my games are installed on an external hard disk (1TB)

Pretty sure this is caused by your theme.

 

Try this: press ctrl+shift+S to open settings, go to themes, change to the default theme, see if that fixes it.
