RE 7 not on Vortex but on this site?

How come the RE 7 mods aren't available in vortex. I am trying to do Civ wolf's ultra wide and FOV patches, but I don't see them available in Vortex. When I download the FOV trainer on nexus mods, I get a warning that it's a virus. Something about a severe threat, a predeteur or something. Is everything on nexus mods safe or only the stuff that's available via vortex?

Because support for RE7 hasn't been implemented in Vortex yet.

Everything is safe, before mods are published they go through a Virus scan website, that runs them through about 20 different AV programs at once. AV Total is the website IIRC.

A TRAINER will almost always trigger a false flag because they usually hook into a game exe, or memory address

Mods aren't available on Vortex, Vortex is just a Mod Manager that downloads mods from Nexus, and Installs them.

Vortex doesn't contain its own mods, it's not a seperate Mod Store

Everything is safe on nexus mods or everything that is downloadable via vortex is safe? If they run it through 20 AV scans and it came up safe, then why did Windows security shut it down for me? It wouldn't even let me download it. I've never seen that. If it is safe, then how can I download it, if it won't let me? If all trainers come up as a virus, is there a way to tell if it's a true false positive or a real virus? Seems like an easy way for hackers to deploy a virus if everyone writes off the detection because it's a trainer.

This is the trainer in question...

One more time

Trainers are usually false flagged because the trainer either hooks into the game exe, or accesses memory in order to edit the game, and AV programs see this as a Virus activity.

If you don't want to use them, then don't use them, but they wouldn't be on the Nexus, and the person who uploaded them would be banned, if they hadn't passed through the VirusTotal Website and passed.

Why do you keep asking if everything is safe downloadable from Nexus, or Via Vortex?

Vortex is a MOD MANAGER that downloads what you tell it to, it downloads the SAME files from the Nexus that you can download with your browser, nothing more.

none of this is related to vortex, please ask a moderator to move this thread to the correct forum.
