AndalTheManhunter
Once again, the point is ever proven to me that modding is a curse... I dont want to have to choose between the vast majority of mods and a few really good ones that were made exclusively for OpenMW... One mod in particular https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44967 really has my interest. I dont see any other mods that do what this one does. This is a perfect mod concept that I absolutely need for a realism build that I am working on. But of course it was made for what is likely the most egregious sin of modding, forcing all of us to choose between all the normal conventional tools of modding, and the gigamonster of all code conflict... It was hard enough trying to mod with all the normal conflicts between them and landscape problems and such. I just really want to be able to run this thing through a program and unclusterf*#@ it so it will behave like all the thousands of other mods that use MWSE. AndalTheManhunter
For real, is this a community or what?
Dragon32
Yes it is. At a a guess no-one who has seen your post knows how to do what you want. There's no program to automagically convert OpenMW scripts to MWSE ones. My suggestion would be learning MWSE and seeing if you can replicate the mod's features using that. Or asking the author to port their mod to MWSE. Probably not the answer you're after. You could try asking on the OpenMW forum.

I couldnt even find the button that allowed me to change the items stat... Thats how incapable I am at modding... As for the mod author, I left a comment on the mod, as far as I know he hasnt replied. I mean, why would he, im just a pleb. I tried posting on OpenMW forums before, a handful of the people working on that project denied the existence of primary narrative story telling in morrowind. Its like their so delusional that they really believe that story telling and game mechanics are the same exact thing. So im not really sure what to do, I dont want to become a code expert just to play a game, I would like to be able to drive a car without knowing how to build one. Dragon32
I think it's assemble a mod list without that mod. Galsiah's Character Development is somewhat in the same area, and there was a MWSE version relatively recently, IIRC.
