Tired of playing Skyrim on Low settings all the time? Well now even with a low-end graphics card you can enjoy a much more visually-enjoyable adventures.

 

Please Note: This was tested on my PC which DOES NOT have a good graphics card in the least.

Processor: Intel® Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30GHz

Installed Memory (RAM): 6.00 GB

64 Bit Operating System

Running Windows 7

Graphics Card: Intel HD Family Graphics (Pretty low-end IMO for any sort of gaming with out major tweaks to the game)

First off you'll need to edit your SkyrimPrefs.ini BEFORE YOU CHANGE YOUR SKYRIMPREFS.ini Make sure to open the regular launcher for Skyrim to configure the settings. Under Skyrim options: "Detail" change it to the ''low' preset. Under the 'Advanced' tab everything else Low(I recommend Medium for texture quality, but this will slightly decrese preformance) or None. Now I at this point I'm pretty sure that you're thinking, "This is just making everything even worse!" Well if you just played with these settings yes.

 

Under view distance: Object and Actor Fade - 5, Light fade - Your choice, everything else 0 or the lowest value possible.

 

Save the settings, then exit out of the Skyrim Launcher Screen. NOW go to Documents/Games/Skyrim/SkyrimPrefs.ini

Whenever I'm playing skyrim It doesn't seem to really lag for me. This has worked nearly flawlessly as a replacement for getting a new graphics card, to my liking at least.

 

Hope this small guide/long list helped you improve your Skyrim Experience somewhat.

 

OH almost forgot last you need!! This is very important! A Skyrim FPS Limiter, set the limit at 30.

Well, I listed my specs, considering the my graphics card is really crappy I figured it might work for other people in similar situations.

I'm Sorry it doesn't seem to work for you. I've moslty been a leecher on mods and forums so I thought just I would give a contribution for a change, which seems to be pretty crappy >.>

 

It runs fine to meet my needs, which would mean the game is quite playable and still enjoyable.

 

Well either way, no point in this topic I guess, if a mod would be kind enough to delete this.

 

One of these mods did make the game a lot laggier but it wasn't the 2k textures or the aMidian mod, I had the game running great yesterday.. but doesn't matter anymore I screw it up Haha
