pyeman90
Hey guys I'm new here. What drew me here was that post on the main page about there being a potential elderscrolls 5 in 2010. I'm just wondering has there been any follow up on that from bethesda??
Wander
There has been debate on whether it may be an MMO, whether they are making a separate MMO game, or whether everyone is just crazy (highly likely) I personally hope it is not an MMO, but that is about the gist of all I have heard so far. Oh, and welcome to the forums! Have a :bunny:
Sin911
What you saw on the front page is all the information we have so far  As far as it being a MMO, there were similar debates about Oblivion, even after Bethesda stated it wasn't going to be multi-player. My point being that anything like that is purely speculation at this point, until Bethesda officially announces it one way or another
Palpenious
I don't see why they would suddenly change the face of TES after so long. I would cry if TES 5 was online only, monthly fees, no thanks.
dezdimona
Bethesda did buy a mmo company, whether that means that in the future there may be one, who knows. IMO Tes V will be like III and IV. Youdon't do away with a hit and a money maker to venture into uncharted waters.

Trigonous
I personally wouldn't mind a TES MMO, but it shouldn't cut into the main TES games, at least until they've exhausted the content by doing all the provinces.
AzirAphale001
To make TES V an MMO would be a good idea for an expansion. If the actual game is a normal game and an optional extra can be downloaded to play online in an arena style battle-to-the-death with other players then that would be good. P.S. Trigonous, that link in your sig is so bad it's good...
Palpenious
I always thought TES as an online game would be difficult to make just because once you level to a certain point you can do everything. I guess if everyone is god-like, it might just make things even. Still, I wonder if it would work.

I'm very tired and i've been playing a lot of fable 2... I think I need to go to bed...
