Editing Multiple Mods.

Hey everybody :), I have a Mod for the Solitude docks and another Mod for most of the ships themselves. I'm wanting to juggle the ships around adding/ moving and fit the docks to suit. *Some of the ships I can copy and place new but as it is most I cant and since the docks are also from a Mod many of them I also cannot change. I've tried the CK but I'm thinking because the Mod(s) isn't included in the Creation Kit they're not showing and same with the "Fancy Ships". I've had some luck with the Jaxonz Positioner but usually that says I'm not selecting anything. Is there another way before I have to rebuild the entire Dock Mod (It's the Big One)?

Install Wrye Bash if not already installed.

Launch it (if using Mod Organizer run it from inside MO)

Right click on the plugin of each mod you want to work with

Choose "esmify"

This converts each plugin into an ESP flagged as an ESM.

Launch the Creation Kit

Check off each mod you want to work with

Create your new patch plugin that moves everything around

Save your plugin

Whenever you want to test your changes in the game, go back to Wrye Bash and "espify" the plugins that you previously "esmified" and adjust load order as necessary.

Make sure the plugins are "esmified" when working in the Creation Kit and "espified" when running the game.

Should you ever load the patch in the Creation Kit without making sure that the parent plugins are "esmified", you run the risk of royally screwing things up.

Should you ever load the game without making sure the parent plugins are "espified" and sorted properly, you run the risk of not having the same results that the end user would have when using the publicly available versions of said mods.

NOTE: TES5Edit can be used to toggle the flag bit in the header record. This may be faster than using Wrye Bash. If unsure how to do it in TES5Edit, make a temporary copy of the plugin and "esmify" it with Wrye Bash and then compare the two header records in TES5Edit to see what gets changed.

Also, on the outside chance that this post was intended for SSE instead of LE, the SSE Creation Kit Fixes mod can be used instead.
