A few ways to gain favour with Kyne:

- Leap of Faith (once, 100 points)

- Shout to the sky (once a day, 20 points + heal)

- Kill an animal that displeases Kyne (random frequency, 50 points)

- Kill a Voicewraith (5 points)

- ...

- ...

Learning the 2nd word of new shouts by meditating is unlocked at 500 favour, the third word at 1000 favour.

Is that for every shout? If so, it might get a little to tedious to get 1000 (or is it 1500 to fully learn a shout?) points for each shout one wants. Althought, it will be easy to patch, I guess, just decrease the number or make the deeds net a bigger point reward.

Herma Mora needs more tentacles, books or eyeballs, but the recolors are fantastic! This sounds great. I saw one overhaul of the shout system that gave benefits and downsides to using each level of the shout, so that you didn't always use the maximum number of words you know, but the author took that mod way too far (overpowered). Been waiting on something to handle shouts in a balanced and interesting way ever since.

Progress!

As said before, successfully pray to Kyne to learn alternate meanings (= shouts) of the first words of the shouts you already have. At 500 favor points, you can learn the alternate meanings of the second words you have. At 1000 points, the third word becomes available. (Most shouts do radically different things each time)

Here are all the things you can do to gain both favour with Kyne and phat lewt.

Closer to Kyne (+100) (1x)

Stand on the highest peak of Skyrim to gain favour with Kyne and an item.

Pilgrimage (+75)

Simple: gain the Voice of the Sky blessing from the 10 shrines along the 7000 Steps.

Shout to the Sky (+20)

Shout to the heavens to gain favour with Kyne and also restore 15 health per character level. Once a day.

Kyne's Sacrifice (+50)

Nearby animals are randomly marked and gain a green ghostly outline. Kill it within the time limit to gain favour and possibly an item.

Leap of Faith (+100) (1x)

Jump off a cliff and fall for 5 seconds. This will teleport you back to solid ground and you gain favour with Kyne and an item.

Wonders of Skyrim (+1 per 10000 units)

Running or riding through Skyrim gradually increases your favour with Kyne.

Bringing Home Kyne (+150/+250)

That guy who said "I hope you don't have to drag that statue up the mountain"? Thanks for the inspiration! There's a moss covered wrecked statue of Kyne and some debris at the bottom of the Throat, at the bridge out of Ivarstead. Click it and you gain a buff "Lingering Spirit of Kyne" granting you infinite stamina. Bring the spirit of Kyne into High Hrotgar to gain favour. There's one thing; it only lasts 3 minutes and fast travel (and Wanderlust 3) is disabled.

Don't think about using a horse; it takes 4 minutes. Whirlwind Sprint, however, works perfectly.

Make it and you get a wad of favour and the Phantom Decoy shout. Make it with flying colours (there's an item that reduces the cooldown of a full Whirlwind Sprint to 10 seconds to help you with this) and you get a nice item and more favour.

Not a separate quest

Shout (+5)

Pray successfully (+25)

Give the Greybeards your money (+1 per 100 gold)

Also, every 250 favour, you gain a dragon soul. Also, when you learn new uses of words, they are automatically unlocked. Grinding problem: solved. :D

This week I'll be able to finish up items and then I'll start on new (and improved) shouts!

A new power: Unyielding Storm - once a day, instantly resets your shout cooldown.

A contingency will be implemented that automatically equips a shout when you enter combat and another when you leave combat, as well as an item that resets shout cooldown when you enter combat, etc. The age old problem of "I can't actually use shouts in battle unless I get -100% cooldown" will be SOLVED.

Hmmm... Thunderchild is starting to remind me of Devemerverse. It is going to blend in into Skyrim perfectly... adding new content and expanding the shout related part of the game in a rolefriendly way. :3

Btw. Don't forget ro throw in some screenies when you will be done with the items. ;) I wold love to see them . :)
