capella6707
Run LOOT and in the upper right hand corner you will see three dots, one underneath the other. Click on that and you will get a menu one of which will be "Copy Load Order" if you click on that it will copy the LOOT load order to notepad. Unfortunately I do not know how to get that file copied to Nexus forums. This worked for me. As far as "getting that file copied to Nexus forums", simply do the Copy Load Order in LOOT and then paste it directly in to your post in the forum or paste to Notepad (if you want to save the load order for yourself, for instance) and then copy/paste from there in to a forum post. Deleted72957223User
Yeah, I kind of went a bit overboard and downloaded over 300 mods as well. XD So right now I am in the long painful process of trying to figure out what load order I should be using, what mods I should just delete because they are just redundant and are going to be completely overwritten anyways, or other mods already do the same thing but better, or the difference is not even noticeable, or just not worth even having, etc, etc, etc... So I was thinking, maybe I could some how just save my full list of mods and ask someone who is a modding pro to grade my paper.

If you're looking to print out all the mods you have installed, then the question has been answered on page 1, post #

No need to stab my eyes out. This seemed like the very same problem because I just wanted to know if there was a way to just export the whole mod list. And I thought the mod loader was no longer called Vortex, because for me it's just called 'Nexus Mod Manager'. Are those 2 not the same thing? 7531Leonidas
NMM is not Vortex, and Vortex is not NMM. I have not used NMM in over a year, maybe two, and am not familiar with the latest versions. You used to have to install LOOT separately and use it to sort your plugins for NMM. The two other major candidates are Mod Organizer 2 and Vortex. Both of these have some quirks that can be confusing, MO2 wrt its override process, and Vortex w/its overwrite configurations and updating installed mods in your LO. Vortex (which is what I am using now) includes LOOT in its install process, and will sort your LO on the fly as you install each new mod, or you can install all your mods in an inactive form, and then "deploy" all of the mods for it to sort. Both of the other two have their enthusiastic supporters and detractors, and you can find a lot of help for either. MO2 might be easier to move to from NMM, if you so choose. I went w/Vortex because MO2 was still in a much trickier stage of development when I changed over from NMM.

I did use Vortex like 3 or 4 years ago when I was trying to add mods, and never really got around to actually playing the game. Now I'm on a new computer so I'm having to start things all over again. I might just have to switch to Vortex then, if I can find where to download it. :pinch:
