Mod Deployment Issue

I am trying to deploy mods in Vortex for Fallout New Vegas, but I get a message saying I have to select a deployment method first. I then press the fix button and am brought to the "Mods" Settings page with the Mod staging folder selection and deployment method selection. Staging folder seems fine, but I cannot select a deployment method. Vortex automatically put "Move Deployment" as the selection, but I cannot select it as the "Apply" but is greyed out an unselectable. I also cannot change selection methods as "Move Deployment" is the only one which appears in the drop down menu. Any information on how to fix this would be appreciated. The only mod I have installed on Vortex is the New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE). Thank you

If you can't select a deployment method then you don't have your mod staging folder on the same drive as Fallout NV

 

From that same screen, you need to click the folder icon and BROWSE to an empty folder

(You can make a folder in Windows Explorer named something like D:\vortex mods\ (Whichever drive Fallout NV is installed on)

Then browse to that in Vortex from the screenshot below and select APPLY

 

Once it's done moving everything, you can then select a deployment method
