Happy 4th to the US peeps!

I am sometimes waiting minutes for it to load me in and out of buildings. The game is installed on an NVME drive soo not sure what the dealio is. I would really appreciate any input.

Thanks!

One thing that can cause really long load times is abandoned scripts in your game from removing mods mid game.

How do I check or solve that issue...Its really bad

Don't remove mods in the middle of a game.

You can try FallrimTools and see if it will find any "Unattached Instances" and tell Fallrim Tools to clean any unattached instances

It may or may not work, (it usually does), but stop adding/removing mods in a playthrough.

If it doesn't work, you'll have to start a new game

This mod might help

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10283

Most of the problem is making sure it is setup right specially if you are not experienced.

Fallout 4 for most part like skyrim needs to run at 60 FPS (or funny things can happen)

(Like picklocks are unmanageable )

Yet fallout4 loading times are based on FPS , so the solution is to disable vsync when loading areas

Than turn back on vsync when not loading areas.

The same concept actually works in other poorly developed games / engines.

Depending on computer you could go from 5-10sec loading time to instant.
