qwertypol012
As the title says, i'm asking whether the amount of records in a ESP affect the game in some way?For example: affect the loading time, affect the game's performance, affect the game's stability, etc I have a mod which ESP contains some unused records. They are meant as some kind of placeholders or backups if just in case i will need it again in the future. So i'm wondering whether it's okay to keep them or instead it's better to remove them for the time being.
IsharaMeradin
No idea to be honest. To avoid confusion for those that might need to make a local patch for some reason, I would consider making a backup copy with the placeholder records and sharing a version without. PeterMartyr
yes there is a limit, if you add up all the records in all the plugins in the load order there is a limit that the game can handled, forgot what it is though, but yes there is. If the records are not used? what the point? there is dirty, wild and pointless edits that should be cleaned (unless the dirty edit is required cos the stupid user installed iit n the middle of play-thru so it runs correctly) LE anyway not sure about SE, also there is the KISS Coding Methodology, Keep It Simple Stupid. You sound complicated to me, asking is my complications OK, the answer is always NO.
