ObModsforeverandever
I have a question I wanted to ask in regards to a Mod that I've reached out to someone in an effort to include part of in an on-going project, however, I'm worried I may never get a response. The last time they were online: "Last Active Jul 22 2007 12:43 PM" which leads me to believe they may be long-gone. On the mod page it makes clear I need to get a hold of them for permission, but in the event they never surface, what are my options?Would I be allowed to include it so long as full credits are listed both in description and in-game?(What I want to include is sword in Blade&Sorcery, so It can even have an additional credit description in the spawn-book).Or is there really no way if the maker is completely gone?I appreciate any feedback or suggestions. showler
If the mod requires their personal approval for inclusion. Then you can't include it without that permission. Period. There's no time limit on the permissions.

HeyYou
Sometimes, mod authors will have different permissions in the readme file with the mod, (if there is one) than what shows on the nexus page. Readme takes precedence. If there isn't one though, then the Nexus permissions stand, and you must have permission to use any of the assets. showler
When a mod is abandoned like that (presumably, we don't really know) and you want to include its features, the only thing you can really do is try to recreate it from scratch.
