Threads is certainly a pretty powerful one.

 

Some of my favorites are:

 

Book of Eli - I was very surprised by how good this one was but hey, it's Denzel. How could it go wrong, really?

On the Beach - A movie about the world's last survivors of WWIII, and their days are numbered.

Testament - A made for tv movie from the early 80's about how a small, California town deals with life after a nuclear blast. Very good and very sad.

When the Wind Blows - An animated, british movie from the 80's about a elderly couple after nuclear war strikes and how woefully unprepared they are for it. One of the sweetest and saddest movies I've ever seen.

Barefoot Gen - An anime movie about a little boy living in Hiroshima when the bomb goes off towards the end of WWII.

Hmm, thanks. I haven't checked out any except the BoE. It rocks. And dontcha think that the guys that made it didn't play FO3. The setting is EXACTLY like FO3. At least as the urban part is concerned.

The Day After. Movie about post WWIII America. Reasonably accurate in its depiction of the after affects of a nuclear war.

 

A boy and his dog. starring a very young Don Johnson.

 

Red Dawn. Both versions, original with Patrick Swayze was pretty good. (for being made back in the 80's.....) Newer version is ok. Better special effects. :) (imagine that....)

Hmm, I've not seen or even heard of the Threads one. Surprising to me since it is British. I shall have to check it out.

I saw Threads when it was first shown and it's stuck with me ever since, the impact was greater because back then what it depicted was a real possibility.

I have No Mouth but I must scream is more sci-fi than post apocalyptic, and it's a story, but a good one nonetheless. You can find it free on the internet somewhere like I did.
