Texture issue

Need to bump the thread due to suffering the exact same issue as the OP, being able to match every single inquiry with identical replies.
There seems to be some sort of issue with making the texture mods appear after being installed via Vortex, and this too solely being limited to those which come in form of .ba2 followed by an .esp.
Unfortunately, the enb solution did not work, as I've had the issue prior to installing the boost as well as after editing the enblocal.ini with a higher videomemorysizemb number.
Aside of setting every single setting manually, as well as with bilago's configuration tool afterwards just in case of missing something previously, I have attempted using backup inis from 2018 with no changes achieved.
The launcher settings persistently default to Ultra and setting them to either of the other presets doesn't help.

Now, another symptom, a reason why I've even started with introducing texture mods into the game, is that the official high resolution texture pack, despite being auto-enabled due to being downloaded via steam as a mandatory dlc, wasn't showing any improvement with the low quality appearance of certain surfaces.
Since it feels like the game is forcing performance over quality, I've checked the 3d settings in the Nvidia control panel and changed every texture option for visual improvement. This too made no changes.

Let's hope there's a breakthrough soon.

While your issue has nothing to do with Vortex, I do hope that you have a breakthrough soon. You should post this in a support forum for whatever game you're having these problems with.

so your issue is nothing to do with the issue at hand? well done.

instead of necroing a thread that is nothing to do with your problem, start a new thread so that people can help you resolve it without any confusion of prior posts that are nothing to do with your issue?

@AugustaCalidia I have not come to this conclusion actually. As stated, the issue is identical to what the thread starter has exhibited. Meanwhile placing loose files from the .ba2 archives which were not appearing when installed via Vortex, actually appear ingame.

Nor did I say that you came to that conclusion. I said that the issue is not Vortex related and that you would be best served by raising it in the appropriate game support forum.
