Unable to Access skyrim.nexusmods.com

We've been under continued attack from someone in Canada trying to use some XSS attacks on the site, no doubt using a bot net. The servers automatically ban list any IPs used in these attacks, and it's A LOT, about 1,000 different IPs a day. If you're in Candaa, that's probably why.

So, after the attacks stop, will our providers be unbanned?

Or more importantly, can someone find this f'er and kill him, kthxbye.

I just got dragonborn on the steam sale, went to update all my addons with dragonborn versions and getting all shakey from skyrim withdrawal =)

We get these kiddies occasionally. Usually either some butthurt troll who believes they were 'unfairly' banned for violating a rule that they don't agree with and should therefore be allowed to ignore, or a particularly obnoxious wannabe pirate that just doesn't get it that we cannot allow pirates for legal reasons. They usually give up after a while - hopefully a short while.

Anyone whose IP is banned because their PC is being used by a botnet has far more pressing concerns than downloading mods, they need to run a virus scan as a matter of some urgency.

You do realize it is our ISP that is getting blocked because a the RANGE of IP's is being blocked, and it is one person on the network, or in this case it looks like multiple networks.
