Crashing during "Hit the Road, Jake" (Radioactive Stories)

The crash occurs after leaving Vault 81 and am about to discover a new "location". Have no idea what's causing it.

Then are you responding if you don't have a solution?

 

 

Because I have a sense of humor. Because I'm trying to start a conversation, rather than flat out tell you that what you posted is useless, which is why no one else has replied.

 

No one can help you because you don't actually describe the problem. "After leaving Vault 81 and am about to discover a new "location" provides no information on what you are doing when the crash happens.

 

Ok, you exit 81 back to the exterior. You are now in the cell Vault81ext. You've already discovered this location, no way to avoid it and still have entered the Vault in the first place. So the problem isn't 81, or the 81 location/map marker in Vault81ext.

 

You are "about to discover a new location". Which one?

 

The majority of nearby locations are to the east of 81, towards Diamond City. North is Oberland Station and the Alien Crash Site. Ok, the first marker north is an unused fast travel point that takes you directly to the 81 atrium, bypassing the gear door room, but that marker is disabled and never actually appears in the game. South is the Coast Guard Pier (super mutants) and West is the Mass Pike Interchange (Gunners).

 

So you are standing outside 81, you walk towards a new location and crash. Which way are you walking?
