Badplayor0 Posted August 14, 2021 Share Posted August 14, 2021 So I was trying to install mods for skyrim and then wanted to uninstall them all because i f*#@ed something up because im dumb as hell this will come back shortly. So as the absolute genuis i am i delete the files for vortex expecting something to happen and removed the mods but now i realised i f*#@ed up pretty bad so is there any way for me to fix this s#*!? Let me say i had installed 7 mods got rid of all them not by normal means because i was downloading skse and it f*#@ed everything up and now im stuck in this shithole. rmm200 Posted August 14, 2021 Share Posted August 14, 2021 You are only dealing with seven mods; worst case, remove and reinstall Vortex and your game. Short of that, I would try:1) Bring up Vortex and Purge your mods2) Clean up your game directory, deleting everything not installed by Bethesda. Deleting the Data directory is a good start.3) Validate your game using Steam. That will fix anything you deleted by mistake.4) - Important - on each of your mods, use the Reinstall dropdown. Your mods in the staging directory are damaged, and need to be reinstalled from the archives.5) Enable and Deploy them. Good luck - and be glad you are not dealing with 300 mods - yet.
