fnamtar
In response to post #8467101. Believe me..... DDoS attacks have nothing to do with kids....The reasons to do a DDos attack ....various a lot..... From just...testing-analyzing defense behavior in a specific server configuration - installation.... to(worst) prepare an xss attack....And some times aren't directed to a website specifically....... maybe pointing a specific hosting company.... warlordodin
Thanks for the info, It's a shame after all these years people are too stubborn to get hold of some antivirus software. :I
JoshThomas
I'm assuming that's the reason for these 502 messages and the NMM often failing to log in?

I use Microsoft Security Essentials (if you use Windows 8, you don't need an virus scanner, it got MSE included), in combination with COMODO Firewall and MBAM. You can buy MBAM for something like 20 dollars with lifetime support.
Renfield286
In response to post #8468359. Especially when there are so many decent free ones. best part about windows 8 it that it comes with MSE built in.

spartenkiller897
In response to post #8467923. #8468158 is also a reply to the same post. Yeah, I think the Nexus sites are the best to come to for modding needs. I guess, maybe, someone is really pissed off or board so they attack a group of sites just for the heck of it. I'll never understand hackers, or DDoSers.
