phantomgut
I've used Vortex before for Legendary Edition but recently bought special edition to enable me to mod it more without the game begging me to stop and then crashing. I don't have to worry about special edition crashing because the mods won't even load anyways;;; here's all the info for what I did, in order: Manually downloaded, installed SKSE from silverlock.org (checked that it worked by using ~GetSKSEVersion) Downloaded Vortex again ( i had uninstalled it and legendary edition) removed archives of mods from legendary edition Started downloading mods (unofficial SSE patch, alternate start, cutting room floor, total character makeover 1.2, INIGO_V2.4C SE, KS Hairdos SSE, Immersive Weapons, Skyrim particle overhaul BETA) I was downloading interesting NPCs and Immersive armors but got bored and paused them so I could play/test skyrim with the ones i had already downloaded I installed and enabled all mods that i had fully downloaded minus the two mentioned above Ran SSE through the SKSE launcher but the mods didn't load (since i had alternative start i could instantly tell once i heard the horse snort from the normal start) Ran SSE through the normal launcher but once again, i heard the cursed horse went back to Vortex and noticed a heads-up that one of the mods had a problem with the script extender (it was a character creator mod, i instantly deleted the installation and archive of it since there was no updates of that mod) repeated the SKSE launch and normal SSE launch, once again i was haunted by that horse triple check that it was deployed, checked the files, etc. Still nothing, the horse wouldn't go away I can't figure why won't it work. They're on the same hard drive, I have deploy mods when enabled on, Hardlink deployment, etc. I'm genuinely so confused please help me i think the horse is taunting me now
HadToRegister
Manually downloaded and installed SKSE....do you mean SKSE64?Because Skyrim SE requires SKSE64Also, you can install it with Vortex now.The Gopher Videos about installing SKSE/SKSE64 are OLD now, and incorrect.OK..... I installed and enabled all mods that i had fully downloaded minus the two mentioned aboveYou didn't mention DEPLOYING the mods, after you installed and Enabled.1. Install2. Enable3. DEPLOY
phantomgut
Yes, it was SKSE64 sorry for not specifying that;; "triple check that it was deployed"I did deploy them^^ multiple times even, which is why i said triple check;; i have a feeling that they failed to though, even though vortex says that they did so successfully should I try installing SKSE64 through Vortex? regardless of SKSE shouldn't the mods have deployed when i used the vanilla launcher? sorry if i sound clueless :,))
