Gramist86
I just downloaded Vortex and I am very new to modding. I am not very familiar with a lot of the terminology I am using Vortex version 1.4.15. I am trying to Mod Skyrim: Special Edition. I am using Windows 10 x64. I have 8 gigabytes of RAM. I have only download the mods from "Modding Skyrim Special Edition with Vortex". I followed those instructions except I downloaded and installed the SKSE64 when prompted by Vortex, instead of when the guide said to, though I did extract it into the root folder when told to. I also set it to run through the SKSE64 launcher when it told me to. I originally downloaded it through Vortex, but after extracting it to the root folder I removed it from the folder I set up to download vortex mods into. After downloading, installing, and enabling the Special Edition Patch mod the Plugin section did not show the mod there. I continued to download, install, and enable the other mods but they never showed up in the plug in section either. There is an orange banner above the Plugin section that reads: "This list may be outdated, you should deploy mods before modifying it." There is a button that says "Deploy now". I have pressed it and nothing has happened. Now the notification bell has its own orange banner that reads: "Masterlist unmodified". There is only a "Dismiss" button next to that which I have not pressed. I ran the game once and none of the mods were active. HadToRegister
If you extracted SKSE64 into the folder, then it's probably not installed properly. The guide is old when it comes to installing SKSE64, you can just have Vortex install it now.Now go to the PLUGINS TAB, are the ESps etc ENABLED there?
