cmac
I've been keeping a close eye on the ES Forums of late, and there's been hundreds of pages on the recent countdown that has been on the Bethesda website for the past eight days. The countdown, a splash screen with bits of a prophecy of sorts, has changed from Eight to One. Today is One- my guess (and the guess of the thousands of other members on the ES forums) is that they plan to release the press release for TES:IV tommorow. One additional indicator of this is that, in the space where it usually says the day number in the countdown, it says 'IV' instead of '1." Oooh... Here is the collected prophecy from the splash screens this far: When the dragon dies, the Empire diesWhere is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire? And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?So long as the blood of the dragon prince runs strong in her rulers, the glory of the Empire shall extend in unbroken years. His heart's blood bleeds in darkness. For once the portals are opened, who shall shut them upon the rising tide? For Lord Dagon forever reborn in blood and fire from the waters of Oblivion.Find him...and close shut the marble jaws of Oblivion. This is the most definite proof that there is actually TES:IV! Can't wait for tommorow! :D Here are the links so far to the splash countdown screens: http://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_01.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_02.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_03.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_04.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_05.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_06.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_07.htmhttp://www.elderscrolls.com/splash/index_08.htm
Slaiv
Obviously you haven't been keeping an eye on these forums as of late :P : http://mwsource.net/forum/index.php?showto...topic=10379&hl= The start is about how MEMod may be ported to TES:IV, but later on Diabolic Wizard gives detailed, pagelong information, analysis, and ideas about the countdown. cmac
Obviously you haven't been keeping an eye on these forums as of late: http://mwsource.net/forum/index.php?showto...topic=10379&hl= The start is about how MEMod may be ported to TES:IV, but later on Diabolic Wizard gives detailed, pagelong information, analysis, and ideas about the countdown.*Shoots Slaiv a nasty look* That thread did not belong in General Morrowind to begin with, and all information relating to this subject was outdated and in the improper area. I'm obviously not spamming for the +1 postcount (in Off Topic), so don't make moderator posts, especially where it isn't an important or blatant violation. Report my thread if you feel it's so out of place. If you believe your most recent post in the MEmod forums, Reaches for his, umm, Legendary, ummm, Anti-Stabbity Plate +1* was feasible, than I cannot see why you think my thread is unacceptable. Slaiv
It's not a moderator post. I'm simply informing you of the thread that has extensive information covering the topic. Yes, it did belong in General Morrowind:Thread moved where it belongs. ...and all information relating to this subject was outdated and in the improper area. All of the information you posted is currently available in that thread, and more, such as elaborations and detailed quotations and points to support Diabolic's theories about TES:IV, as well as detailed explanations of the various quotes and symbols contained therein. I didn't mean it as a nasty post, either. I guess I was too-serious sounding.
DreamOfTheRood
All of the information you posted is currently available in that thread, and more, such as elaborations and detailed quotations and points to support Diabolic's theories about TES:IV, as well as detailed explanations of the various quotes and symbols contained therein. As well, there is a certain theory that a particular member of the boards may be a BethSoft member in disguise.
Dark0ne
Think cmac smacked his head on something.. ..there was nothing wrong with Slaiv's post, so calm down - the other thread has been going longer and has much more detailed information on this subject. Its not out of date at all .. no need to get aggressive.
valdir
Wow. The epic looking coutdown and all we get is some lame advertisment for a low-end game magazine. Thanks Bethesda for not delivering. That's like following up the alien's movies with a bad crossover movie. <_< ~Val
Slaiv
Basically. It is just an advertisement. I mean, who's not going to buy that magazine? ;) Hey, AVP wasn't that bad..... :P
suzerain
As well, there is a certain theory that a particular member of the boards may be a BethSoft member in disguise. there is? I'd kill to have a nice long chat with them and bludgeon *ahem* I mean... persuade them to give some tech advice for memod's content. :)suz
Slaiv
That would be me, saying that Diabolic Wizard is a Bethsoft member, due to his incredibly-long winded and detailed explanations of the quotes, symbols, etc... during the TES:IV countdown. :P
