Great idea for cool sounding mod. How about making the addiction run of willpower, but the effects run of endurance? Maybe also add an agility/attcak penatly to beer (you ever seen anyone walk straight after 10 pints?).

 

Is the fermentor going to be portable? If so is it going to be the same as a calcinator?

 

Also don't know what youve got in your beer but you could add bread (it has yeast in it one of the ingredients for beer) prob also gives the beer a strong yeasty flavour as well.

 

Some other thoughts how about saltrice (grain?) and ash yam (potato?) vodkas

 

Berries that you get in bloodmoon could be used to make wine (or beer aka Belgian fruit beers)

good ideas, but general effects of damaging agility/attack come with drinking beer in the normal game

 

yes the fermentor is portable and is basically a calcinator, the first time you use the fermentor it will seem complex, but this is the easiest way possible (and think how complex the scripting is :blink: i had to take two advil last night)

 

I have already chosen all the ingredients, either they were already said in the game, or i had to choose very logical ones

I could make it where ever it's 'illegal to sleep' and you pass out, a guard will wake you up and send you to detox (fancy term for, in jail until sober)

 

 

 

You'll have to talk to people to find out what ingredients make what beer, otherwise experiment,

 

if you use a bad ingredient, you make 'Foul Brew' worth 1 gold, and Damages Health, Int, and Agility. This should give you the hint to not make this again

 

The only items i have created are a Vineyard, the Fermentor, the Processor, nord honey (ingredient), Hive (container in Bloodmoon), and the foul brew

 

I wanted to edit as little as possible, so i edited, some dialouge, scripting (lots of scripting :blink: ) and the land by the Vineyard.

 

 

 

If someone knows how to make visual effects other than blind, please tell me

You could set up a wholesale business...buy the drink in bulk from the brewery and deliver it to the outlying settlements.

 

This will raise some people's disposition towards you, and lower that of others, depending on their attitude to alcohol.

 

Perhaps some factions ban beer completely - eg Redoran perhaps? - and you have to smuggle your deliveries in without getting caught.

You could make a Brewers Faction were you have to do missions like deliver

Beer, Smuggle it and Sell it at Trade Houses.....

 

You could call it something like.... Jhon Smith Brewers or something lol

 

another thing you could do is Medical Alchol.... 100% Alchol drunk in a sip.

Maybe the temple should have a front against beer, and is working to have breweries shut down, and you have to decide which side you have to take. Pro-Beer or Anti-Beer.

Delivering beer is a good idea, as for smuggling, skooma would be a better product to smuggle, because i don't think outlawing beer is a good idea (they did it in bloodmoon and the fort revolted...

A new faction is a good idea, except change beer to skooma and its good.

Balmora... Balmora has one of each guild there, they dont need another

Medical Alchohol is too modern

The Temple might work... but like i said, skooma works better
