BlazeStryker
Am I right in assuming that AFaTU is placed in the BattleTech_Data folder? I really want confirmation on the non-standard place before installing it.
Dragon32
Not one I've used but it looks like a standard ModTek mod.
BlazeStryker
I am looking at the open 7-Zip archive now and it is a folder named Streaming Assets, mod dot json and mosdtate dot json whereas something like Handy Industrial Weapons is a zip file (not 7-Zip) and has a folder within you shove into the Mods folder in the BATTLETECH install folder (Yesm the Mods folder in the same place you find the executable)
Dragon32
Create a new folder in your ModTek directory, call it "Arano Flashpoint and Travel Unlock", unzip the archive into that and run ModTek. Should work.
BlazeStryker
I use BTMM so that for the Mods folder?

BlazeStryker
BattleTech Mod Manager. It's a great utility for getting those Zip and 7-zip files to install the folders within as mods for the game to process with its own manager. It also keeps ModTek updated and in order so you don't have to. Update: The folder trick worked fine. Thanks so much for the idea. So if mods have specific locations for the files (the most recent portraits mod gets its files placed directly into the CommanderPortraitLeader folder in your Mods folder, as one excellent example) good enough but mods that were meant to be ModTek but missing a folder can just be stuck in one before said folder and all contents go into Mods. After that, ModTek will sort it out for you.
