RolandDs
Hi there, I have the weirdest bug: I am trying to buy premium, but it doesn't show any payment options to select - just a grey divider where I suppose logos should appear. So, as there aren't any payment providers to pick, I can't get the subscription. I tried it on different browsers and even my IPad, what's wrong there? Is this a known problem or something on my side?
showler
Do you have any browser extensions that block third party links, social widgets or ads?
RdDs2
No, that's why I tried it on my Ipad as well..I tried Chrome, Safari and Edge on 2 different devices - and made a new account (the one I am writing from now) because I thought maybe my account was bugged - it shows me as premium even though I am not. Still same result. Edited October 23, 2021 by RdDs2
showler
You shouldn't make extra accounts. It's against the ToS and not needed unless official support asks you to do it. It was working fine for me, earlier. Do you have any experience looking at the source for a selection of a web page? If so, that might be helpful information. But you may just need to contact the Nexus support email on Monday when the offices open up again. edit: It looks like it is a javascript function from a website called braintree if that is any help? RdDs2
Yeah, I looked at it...but as I said, I tried on multiple devices and haven't set up anything "special" on my router either that would block it. No idea. Thanks for letting me know the problem regarding my second account, I will delete it again.
Pickysaurus
This can only be caused by browser addons/security settings (unless every single user is having the issue). Basically something on your PC is blocking the payment widget, most often a privacy/security browser addon or adblocker. We've got a help article here that may assist you in tracking down the problem: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues
RdDs2
All right, thanks for the reply, I'll have a look - but as I said, I tried it it on 3 different browsers (Edge.Chrome, Safari) on 2 different devices (PC, IPad)..
Guest deleted34304850
is there any commonality between the addons across your devices? if you have them set up to mirror their addon settings across devices you may be unknowingly deploying an addon that's blocking a chunk of the site.you could try and download a browser you've not used before - such as opera and give that a go without any addons and see if you have better luck? if you see it on a vanilla browser, then you'll know you've got something in your set up that is compromising you when it comes to this website? showler
Is it possible that Braintree might be blocked in your country (I say while having no idea what country you are currently in)?
