Hi guys,

I'm sure a lot of you already know about this project because of the pictures I spam everyday on this website ;)

I've been working on it for several months now and it's becoming an important part of my (no)life. Therefore I feel that it deserves a real name and after a five-minute thought, I came out with "Oblivion Beyond".

Why "Beyond" ? Well, it gives me the latitude, with the help of UE5, to break Oblivion's boundaries and be more creative by adding new content if I wish (remaining in the fantasy universe of course - no aliens here).

And a new name would be nothing without a logo to go with it - and here's where I need your help : if you feel like it, send me your creations and the ones I prefer will be included as a bottom-right waterrmark in my future uploads and you'll be credited.

You'll also get a free copy of my game once it goes live - JUST JOKING !!!

Counting on you fellow modders,

Cheers,

Greg

Sounds perfect. It looks perfect as far as I can see. It seems all NPC has the same faces but I never seen those faces before... The music is from Skyrim so is it the same engine as used in Skyrim? I do not know much about Skyrim nor Unreal 5 so therefor I ask. I did play Skyrim, twice but I never got started with any Skyrim Modding. The difference between Oblivion and Skyrim CS is huge as far as I could see.

I also noticed the lack of clutter?

Does dialogues work?

Any fighting scenes? ;)

Thank You :) But the project is far from being perfect. There's much room for improvements. The good thing about running UE5 on my low/mid-end PC (I7 4770 + GTX 1660) is that it pushes me to keep things optimized so that it still runs around 30 FPS.

NPCs have the vanilla body and clothes but their heads and faces come from Avatar SDK which transforms a person's photo into a 3d model. The people on the photos are not real and are generated by AI (I grabbed those on a random website).

The main character wears my face ;)

Main musics are from Oblivion but in the tavern I use the ones from Skyrim - using the best of both worlds.

Cheers !

Ahh. Cool. Weöö it is easy to combine I guess. :D I did have a lot of Morrowind music in my Oblivion game for a period, but I felt it did not not fit in the ened so deleted it. I can launch Morrowind if I wanna listen to that nice music. :D

I took the liberty to compare screenshots from Chorrol with your game. I did notice and also comment at youtube about the cool and natural bumpmapping or rather normals. This PC is extremely low end, so I use an ATI R5 graphiccard so it might look better at my own gaming PC, with NVIDIA 850. Well let us skip the bullsh and watch the screenies, shall we :D

The shop and to the left side the ef shop. My char lives in Chorrol, at a bench, outside ef shop, so I can keep an eye at the staff when or if they come to work each morning. If I do not, they skip work andgo around in Chorrol and talk nmo sence like all other NPC's

I did notice that the Unreal 5 screenies was taken around 12:00 and mine are taken around 07:00 in the morning, therefor they differ a lot in the light I guess. But look at the stones - Hmmm. I just recall I use Qarls textures too :D
