Ignazzz Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 Hi i am trying to remove some mods for bannerlord and install some new ones but everytime i try to do something i get a message that i need to confirm usser acces control dialog.Ive tried looking for solutions, i went to the change uac setting in the search bar and turned it all the way up but this didnt seem to fix anything. I think i remember denying vortex uac without realy knowing what it meant. Is there anyway to give vortex uac? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HadToRegister Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 If it asks for UAC every time, then you have the Deployment method set to Symlink Deployment, because Vortex asks every single time.First go to SETTINGS----->MODS and look at what deployment method you have set If it's set to Symlink Deployment, and Hardlink Deployment isn't available, then go toSETTINGS------>WORKAROUNDS, and turn ON ONE of the "Allow Symlinks without Elevation"Either the Experimental one or the "Old Mechanism" one.
