Why is Vortex so complicated af?

Hello @all,

5 Years ago (something around that) i installed mods via NMM so easy without any problems.

Now i wanted to play skyrim again with mods and i see nexus mod manger is not any longer supported... i tryd to use vortex but this piece of crap is so difficult to use! I miss the good old NMM times where it did everything by himself! Now this Vortex sh*t tell me the whole time that i have to set a folder. But everything i try... it crys me a river....

And why have it like a million options and folders? I just want it to install my mod! Nothing more! *facepalm*

buh!

it isn't complicated at all.

i would suggest the issues start and end with you and your inability to read, especially as there is a link to the worlds greatest mod manager, nmm directy underneath the link where you downloaded vortex from.

so difficult using eyes and clicking........

Mmh, a tool provided for free, 6,057,570 unique downloads, 11,029,106 total downlaods, 277,273 endorsements, last endorsed 02 November 2021, 5:55PM – something must be wrong, I do not the think it is the said mod manager

At the bottom of this page one can find this:
"Nexus Mod Manager

Although we no longer support Nexus Mod Manager, for those that prefer to stick to NMM the last official release is still available. You can also find the newest community release on the GitHub page.

Download (Win 10, 8, 7, Vista)

Community Release (Git Hub)"

Nothing new here. Another profantiy laden and unconstructive rant (one can hardly expect any support or consturctive hints in reply) as it has already has been posted for multiple times on different threads in the past.
Locking the thread for that reason and before the discussion here turns into name-calling (as well).
