NolanNexus69 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Hey guys, yesterday I bought Fallout New Vegas and today I installed the Rudy ENB. I did everything correctly during the install yet I am still getting horrible FPS and stuttering. (Note: I am very new to modding, and I have not PC gamed in years) My Laptop: (I know it is not amazing, but I feel that it should be running the game a lot better) https://www.woot.com/offers/hp-15-6-star-wars-intel-i7-full-hd-laptop-23 I literally average like 13 FPS and it will not even go over 20. Here are my settings, https://gm1.ggpht.com/Esmx_XvwOfo03RVuDlgYY_znPmyWMCEM5jWlqyjhI2ntI3ZfASRADQGaLVRrSLtp6sdgH3I_sWVh-G8G34O8SACj-167N39jewb76XFlCsqCGYmzQpQPYFvUYaFlQB1S05CxE7bwaYHnfr7GB_IAQDvNjF1QA-0oniTHlDAodHjOrR6JGmW4TbCyKq5ma8WO12c4ZU8sHZnm1_1rX7dAlXdMmpKq_6_iSAyEk_NSPN4oVVayKwPJzCKvxXdDtxQ3bUqrRJPo8axwzWApNRNmh6yePZhW6ACIKf1F8qZa9OEbAvvYF0wJL0zELrHF435Jn4GsiIpVJRLlZ2QovGgaWMC4nkYybj8m8NSdWKjWEZmPWC9abHhqQuBwzLWIzW4Bh9cdtHPdgY02r67SLucvUu1SRQFFSXG6P3BnRSE6FnV4GgdQccU3RzBbjWVs55x-e7P5zsNefHhkOuir9m9_LNOTl0Cv0QJVm07HGwTCiHmTX0Gtv10Oz80KeylvhP0smR4GKOIAlsR-SJQV2vn2HRQ5YZN1G3JryrRHj24JgLaYCVf7D0zQxL-Wsj6wPYuICHqe5cjeC8yQvouSMdOHzE0kEjJEFuEslnzpqiIOQi_aAO-j484t2TrsvVGDIgBDVA7f7TOdcTRY7mflvvfy7vUtHpjfRm2H3Vp9TjB34oP_0Lqys7K7H1DyEwlDuEAkBezsVvy4o0fBE9ZrboKumEY-a9G6XiburmoRCoI=s0-l75-ft-l75-ft If I need to fix any settings please let me know, otherwise I will just know my computer is not good enough and I will uninstall. THANK YOU!!!
gnarly1 Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 The issue may not be with your hardware. From the VivaNewVegas guide: As mentioned earlier with ENBoost, ENBs were never fully developed for New Vegas and have been abandoned by the author. They have a ton of bugs and performance issues, such as broken Anti-aliasing, transparent objects, and glowing objects (though glowing objects can be mostly mitigated with ENB Glowing Objects Overhaul). They also use a lot of vision-obscuring effects like depth of field, lens flares, bloom, and chromatic aberration to obscure the broken Anti-aliasing, which makes hem very hard to play with. I recommend using a ReShade preset instead, such as Vanilla Plus ReShade Preset.
JimboUK Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 In addition to the above that's a weak GPU, it'll run the game OK but it might struggle with ENB, the visuals can be improved with a simple lighting mod that tweaks existing settings rather than slapping poorly optimised Instagram filters over everything.
