LegoManIAm94 Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 If prefer uploading files to the website, is it possible to do so and ensure the file can be downloaded using Vortex? And if so how can I ensure the file when download using Vortex is downloaded and install in the right directory of the game for the user? My file structure inside the ZIP file I upload may be different than what Vortex may expect.
showler Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Don't make your file structure different from what Vortex expects. That's rule number one. Standard practices are what makes modding easier on everyone. Other than that, it depends on what game you are modding and whether or not Vortex supports that game.

How do you get the file structure for a specific game in Vortex so you know how to compress your mod into an ZIP file and then upload it manually in NexusMods?
showler Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 If a forum exists for that game on Nexus mods, the other mod authors will probably have that information.
