HeyYou
They won't just integrate someone's mod. If they want a new feature they have to build it from scratch. And, basically that means that Todd or whoever has to make a business case that the money expended is going to increase revenue by a significant enough margin to make the expense and the inherent risk worthwhile. I don't think they could make that case.Erm, beth HAS integrated folks mods into the next game.... Where do you think crafting, and flowers that disappear when you harvest them came from? A bit overstated. Todd's job is to deliver the best game possible. But he isn't the only one making the decisions. There are hundreds of people working there and most of them want to create the best experience possible for players. But the money people don't want to end up like all the other studios who went bankrupt because they were good at games and bad at business. My idea of "the best game possible", and Todd's idea, seem to have a fair bit of distance between 'em. Of course, it's Todds JOB to sell the game..... Is it really his fault when the game does not live up to his hype? Were he honest with players, would they sell any less games though??? showler
They copy ideas, but create the work from scratch. Same rules as when someone recreates Oblivion items in Skyrim.
w1ixi
Just curious was their recruitment pitch for the creation club a good 1. Could they have done a better job?
