lepixellad
is it possible to make vortex not get mad at me whenever i edit a mods flies to edit things such as configs, which gets very annoying any time a mod updates and i need to uninstall and reinstall the mods to get the deleted files back that are required to run the mods
rmm200
What you describe is not normal behavior. Give us one specific example of one mod and what you do to it. Do you get any changed messages when you deploy? If I need to change a config file. I typically do it in the mod staging directory. Use the mod dropdown "Open in file editor".Then Deploy when done. rmm200
Stardew Valley... I would ask for help here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Troubleshooting#Ask_for_help And Vortex does not delete mod files. It keeps busy just installing them. showler
Is the problem possibly that the file is generated when you run the game? It doesn't exist in the download and therefore is removed if you update the mod because it gets a new staging folder?
